We don't treat only cats and dogs. Sometimes we have a special species like this beautiful lora! 🦜
This wild bird had an eye infection but luckily he's doing better now and will be released back into the wild thanks to World Parrot Trust who protects parrots worldwide.
Unfortunately parrots are still kept as pets in captivity. 😢 But keeping a bird in a cage can lead to stress, boredom and health problems.
Loving animals also means respecting their natural behavior and habitat. So please admire them in the wild, where they truly belong! 🌿💗

The right answer to yesterday's riddle was a bat! 🦇
Unfortunately this poor girl flew into an outdoor ceiling fan and broke her wing.
So please turn off your fan when you're not sitting outside! 🙏
As you can see she has a tag. The Wild Conscience protects the bat population on Bonaire because they are the foundation of the ecosystem on the island. By this tag they can collect information about the bats and can learn a lot about their behavior. This bat was 19 years old!
It's very sad this accident happened because the wing wasn't fixable and they cannot live in the wild without working wings.. 😢
