Ton and I spent a lovely week in Hungary. We used the time for hiking in a beautiful nature park and train our dogs. I concentrated on my youngster Paddy, 13 months old. He was bred by Wolfgang Mandl and is out of Itchi of Thundering Heart and Dave Latham’s dog FTCH Meadowlark Big Rock Fendawood. He is a very pleasy dog with a lot of drive. I really enjoy working with him. 😊😊😊

Yesterday Ton and I spent a beautiful, sunny day on nice grounds with high grass at the WT in Hellmonsödt. In the morning I ran good old IntFTCH Lesser Burdock Beaver in the Veteran class, finishing 5th place. With her 10 years, she worked nicely and she really enjoyed her last WT ever.

In the morning I also ran my 2 1/2 year-old bitch Head Over Fields Doc Izzy in the Novice Class. In the first test I struggled a bit to get her over the ditch out of sight in high grass to the blind but I finally managed. The other tests went okish but at the end of the day we finished 1st place and judges‘ choice with only 5 dogs out of 18 who qualified.

In the afternoon Ton ran Lesser Burdock Hendrix aka Jimmy in the Open class. Once again he did fantastic lines on blinds but Ton struggled a bit to nail him down in high cover. In the end they finished 7th place. Well done 👏👏👏

Altogether we enjoyed a nice and successful day in very good company😊

WT-Grub, 12 & 13 March, 2022

Head Over Fields Doc Izzy finished 4th place in the Novice class (only 14 out of 30 qualified)
Lesser Burdock Hendrix, aka Jimmy, finished 10th place in the Open class (34 out of 63 qualified)

Lesser Burdock Hendrix (FTCH Troddenmills Full Throttle of Leacaz x IntFTCH Lesser Burdock Beaver) hat heute die BLP in Bleiburg, Kärnten, im 1c Preis bestanden.

Nachdem er bei der Formwert-Beurteilung ein Sehr gut bekam, können wir für Jimmy die Zuchtzulassung beantragen.
