So the last of our puppies went to his forever home!
Zeek will be much loved by Rickey his 15 year old owner and his parents. Zeek is lucky to be living with his new family on a grape farm. His sole purpose is to be the family pet and a bit of a guard dog. Zeek was the smallest out of the litter but don’t let the fool You his caught up with the rest of his siblings and is showing good drive and is confident and already showing his guardianship with his humans!
His adorable, loving in every way. He is what a French Mastiff should be: laid back and quiet yet assertive and protective over his family.
Going to miss the little fella!

These three lads are now 8 weeks old. Microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and registered with ANKC (Dogs Vic). These three boys are of good size, healthy, good movement.

Well this little girl went to a home where she has the best little playmates. The kids just love her already. Tyra is her name and she is simply beautiful. congrats gang! You’ll have a lot of fun with her that’s for sure!

This little puppy has the best family in the world. This family needed a very large hole in their lives filled with happiness and we certainly hope this pup fulfills that hole.

So wanna breed dogs?? please understand that when you breed dogs regardless of the breed it is time
Consuming, exspensive and emotional.
We spend everyday cleaning, talking to puppy people, feeding etc and this generally starts at 4am. Picking up after the babies and making sure they are fed, watered and clean.
Washing bedding doesn’t stop. We don’t go on holidays because we have dogs to maintain nor do we go away for just the weekend.
The cost of breeding is huge:
Stud fees (yes you have to pay the owner of the stud to use him which can be anywhere between $2000 up wards)
Vet
Feed
Cleaning products
Registration for council
Registration for Dogs Vic
Paperwork (yes we have to pay to get you the pedigrees papers which around $65 per pup)
Club membership for our breed
Then we have show entry fees which we do becaue we are promoting the breed
Travel costs
Then time off work to spend with newborn puppies to make sure mum is feeding etc
So when someone questions on the price etc that leaves breeders to think well if you are not willing to pay the amount asked then are you as a puppy person going to be able to afford good food, get puppy vaccinated when due, wormed when due etc.
As a breeders of DDB and German Shepherds I get upset when people do this. We pour all our time into our breeding and campaigning our breed so we can produce the a healthy puppy for people.
I agree there are some breeders out there who do the wrong thing but there are people out who breed for the love of their chosen breed.
So cut us some slack we spend sleepless nights whelping bi***es down, sleeping next to whelping box for 1-2 weeks waking up to sore backs etc.
we spend countless hours on the rd travelling from show to show. We spend out of our back pocket paying for the things that is required for puppy raising. Family functions go on hold, night out with the family are on hold etc

Gonna miss little guy. TBH I really liked him!! His just beautiful! His going to a family home where his best friend will be a three year little boy. Couldn’t ask for a better home for him.. plus his around the corner I can see whenever I like lol.
