Established in Canberra, and servicing the local region, we are a bespoke family business. This allows us to source all our produce from local suppliers and, in turn, your beloved pets become the best they can be from the inside out. We are experienced pet parents ourselves, with over 30 years experience, throughout this time we have had animals suffer from various ailments that we believe were ca

used by poor diets. This sparked our interest in healthy eating and studying companion animal nutrition to find out how to prevent this from happening. We deliver Canberra wide and to some surrounding regions weekly. This ensures of freshly made products are delivered to you without hassle, as fresh as it comes. Our delivery schedule is northside suburbs on Saturdays and southside suburbs on Sundays. Not at home when we make a delivery? no worries, we will leave your weekly delivery for you ready when you arrive home.

We have made almost 1200 meals and nearly 1000 bones this week to make sure everyone's pets are fed while we are away! That works out to nearly 430kg of meat and almost 100kg of veggies but these figures don't include other ingredients like eggs and oils etc or the bones!
This also doesn't include several bulk orders we did last week for those who won't be here for tomorrow's delivery which was another 170kg meat and 35kg veggies (on top of the regular weekly deliveries) which is nearly 500 meals and over 160 bones!

If you need to contact us, please message us via Facebook and we'll get back to you when we can.

We wish you and your pets a safe and happy Christmas period and can't wait to see you all next year!

Ever wonder what 1113 meals looks like? We have been working very hard the last couple of days to ensure everyone is fed while we are away! That's nearly 350kg of meat and that's not including veggies etc or the bones either!

We don't often talk about our dogs, but here is our old girl Bailey. Over 13 years ago we adopted her from RSPCA as a 12 week old puppy. Unfortunately she was the victim of an impulse buy at a pet shop at 8 weeks of age and by 12 weeks she was surrendered. She was morbidly obese due to being on a self feeder (plus porridge or wheatbix for breakfast!) and she needed to drop weight before it started causing problems. We have always kept her lean to try and avoid any problems like early onset arthritis etc, as we do with all our dogs to keep them in optimal health. Friday last week we had a scare as she was hiding in the garden and obviously in pain. Due to her age (13.5yrs old) we feared the worst and rushed her to the vets. Turns out the pain was caused by spinal arthritis so they gave her anti inflammatories and pain killers which has settled it down and she's moving freely again. She had a recheck today and they said she was doing really well since last week and also considering her age/breed. They also said this was due to keeping her on a healthy diet and keeping her lean but if she was overweight, we would have lost her a while ago. So no matter how sad your puppy looks, don't give in to them and give them the extra treats! Any extra weight is going to cause problems which will shorten their life span/quality of life. You can also try non fatty treats like carrots which are much healthier for them and great for their teeth!

We had a lovely lady and her daughter purchase a sample pack yesterday at A Pooch Affair and the number was written down so we can't get it to them (I had the wrong puppies in the original post, so many puppies yesterday I got confused!). If you think you know them, please tag them or get them to contact us so we can get it back to them, thank you!
