Koala joey Millie 🐨🥰
Millie was orphaned for several days before being found, i honestly don’t know how she survived. 1300Koalaz rescued her and rushed her straight to SASH - Small Animal Specialist Hospital to receive treatment.
Millie then came home with me for ongoing nursing care.

Millie still thinks she can’t use her arm properly after having an IV line in place the last few days, it was removed tonight but she’s still being a little bit sooky about it 😋
Her favourite gum is manna gum and will strip every last leaf of the branch leaving only sticks 🤤

Introducing Caleb
He was quickly rescued by the 1300Koalaz team a few days ago on a very hot day.
He was found alone without his mum 😢 he had clearly been separated for some time as he was very dehydrated and a very sad little joey.
After some veterinary treatment and fluids he’s now settling in well and feeling much better.
You can see the before and after photos such an improvement 👌
More vet checks this week to check his kidneys and urine crossing our fingers for a good outcome so he can join the other joeys in care at 1300Koalaz

Remember Daniel and Daisy?
I had the pleasure of stabilising these joeys and starting the handraising prosess before passing them into their long term carer.
Well a few days ago the were released back into the wild 🙌🙌

Those milk coma feels 🥰🩷

This little ringtail possum was starving after being found on the ground frozen cold with no mum.

Once warm she was offered some possum milk and she ravenously drank the lot leaving her sporting a milk moustache, full belly and the urge to sleep 😴

Pleased to announce that Oakley (Joey) and Oakleaf (mum) are doing well and are going to be released this afternoon 🙌❤️

Baby Oakley has been feeding from his mum and continues to gain weight 🐨🐨

It’s time for this pair to return to the Australian Bush 🙌

Baby Oakley being reunited with his Mum 🐨❤️

Iv had the pleasure of looking after baby Oakley since Saturday night untill the wonderful team at 1300Koalaz found his mum today ❤️🙌

It’s taken over 20 volunteers 2 nights and 2 days of relentless searching for this amazing outcome to occur, thank you to everyone involved 🥰

This afternoon I got to reunite baby Oakley with his mum 🥰
The joy we all feel is just not measurable in words 🤩

These 2 will be monitored in care for a few days to ensure baby is getting the appropriate milk and hopefully released later this week.

Remember Hudson?

He had the most horrific skin, with a mixed condition of bacterial infection, Candida growth and ringworm on his skin 🦠🤢😢

His skin got worse before it got better, his hair fell out and he looked a sad sight

I had to follow quarantine measures as ringworm is highly contagious.
Well guys I contracted ringworm anyway 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🦠 sporting 17 lesions!! It was horrible and slightly impressive at the same time 🤪
My doctor was disappointed that I didn’t bring the kangaroo with me to my doctors appointment 🤣🤪

After 8 weeks of medications for Hudson his skin resolved and his hair started growing back 🙌❤️ he’s now such a handsome beautiful looking boy ( see the last photo)

After 2 weeks of medication 💊 for myself, I’m now clear too 🙌

Im just so pleased Hudson has made a full recovery ❤️🥰
