There aren't many non natural things that we give our puppies or adult dogs, but this is one of them. Drontal wormer. We like to use the suspension. We can see the right amount delivered. Unlike tablets or chews it can't be spat out later or if mixed the food may not be eaten.
We treat our puppies for worms at:
2 4 6 8 10 & 12 weeks
4 5 6 months
After the pup is 6 months old they should be treated for worms at least once every three months.

What a delightful bunch of little beauties Kenzi and Loki's puppies are! So much fun for our grandkids and us. Today they've tried and loved their first hard puppy food. It's great to watch them having a run around, playing with mum. Kenzi is very much in control of what's acceptable play and what isn't. We've been amazed in the evening, hearing Kenzi hopping in to play with her lovelies as she weans them. Adorable cute chubies they are!

Kenzi's puppies turned 3 weeks on Friday. They now all weigh over a kilogram, walking and playing, ...already! They've advanced and developed at such an incredible pace. We moved them to a more suitable area and given them a large play area and false grass to toilet on. Not that we've ever seen p**p, as Kenzi is still the best dutiful mother ever.
Like her, she has made watching over these beauties an absolute delight.
The larger enclosure is positioned in sight of the doggy door, so they can see where mum goes and hopefully figure out how to use it when the time comes. Two already have been spoken for by a local couple, Redboy is now known as Max, and his sister, Green girl, is called Millie.
By the next [P]update, they'll have tried food, our special gruel, and ventured outdoors onto the paved area to help keep those tiny claws a bit blunter. We are totally in awe with these chubby little beings and look forward to showing them all off again soon.

Our delightful Kenzi loves her 6 little beauties. These boys and girls are the chubbiest little cuties. All gaining weight fast. Unlike our other mothers, Kenzi prefers to feed overnight. And talk about keep a clean house! Things are going so well, Marion and I have noted how naturally attentive and maternal Kenzi is. Over the last few days, their eyes have begun to open. If you look closely at the video, you'll see green girl trying to play with mum as she passes over. And we've heard a few quiet little barks which gets Kenzis' attention, tilting her head curiosly. As they start moving around and discovering their world, things are sure to get more exciting in our next [P]update.
