To help Lauren continue building confidence and skill, we’re opening up wash & dry bookings on:
🛁 Wednesdays 1pm–4pm
🛁 Saturdays 10am–2pm

Learner Dog Criteria: Must have an excellent temperament and be comfortable with grooming.

Full grooms can still be completed by a Senior Pet Stylist, with Lauren assisting on the wash & dry.

🐾 A Friendly but Firm Reminder from Live Love Bark 🐾

I love what I do, and your dogs mean the world to me. That’s why I want to gently but clearly set the record straight when it comes to appointment bookings and dog care.

✨ LLB grooming services are by appointment only. I run a structured schedule to give every dog the individual care and attention they deserve. That means I am not a dog daycare and I don’t have the capacity to keep dogs here all day without prior arrangement.

Yes, I can cater for dogs that need to stay longer — but this is a premium service that includes walks, toilet breaks, supervision, and care. This requires time, staff, and resources, so there will be an additional fee of $40 per hour, which covers the cost of a Pet Carer (hourly rate/ plus super) and the extra care your dog receives.

This is for your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being, as well as the safety of others in my care.

Not every dog is social. Not every dog copes well in a salon environment for long hours. And it’s unfair to expect me to manage that without notice, planning, or compensation.

I know life gets busy — but I ask that pet parents take responsibility for organising grooming appointments with care and respect. I am here to help and I care deeply, but I am not here to be the fallback when things aren’t planned well.

Let’s work together to keep tails wagging and stress levels low 🐶💛

Meet Bruce the Amstaff!
Bruce has just kicked off his 10-session suburban walking program, and the video attached is from Day 1.

He drags, he pulls, and he needs to p*e on absolutely everything. The whole world is exciting and clearly built just for Bruce. But today, once he started to understand the idea of boundaries, he had his best walk yet. He saw cars, trucks, and trains, met new people, and even learned to wait for his p*e command—what a champion!

Bruce and his owner also join our Monday Night Gawler Walks, adding fun and community to his training journey. Together, we’ve created a supportive, affordable, and engaging routine tailored to Bruce’s needs—and his family's goals for calm, enjoyable walks.

This majestic boy is Oskar, the Finnish Lapphund, and he absolutely lit up the salon at Live Love Bark today! With his plush double coat, soulful eyes, and that signature Lappie smile, Oskar is the perfect blend of fluff and finesse.

Bred to thrive in the snow-covered north herding reindeer, Finnish Lapphunds are known for their intelligence, calm nature, and loving hearts. Oskar brought all of that and more to his grooming session—he was the perfect gentleman from start to finish.

It’s a true privilege to have dogs like Oskar on our table. At Live Love Bark, we’re all about celebrating the individual magic of every pup, and today, Oskar reminded us just how special that bond can be.

This is me 🤣 —robe-wearing, slipper-shuffling, bed-hauling, poop-scooping chaos… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Home Life at Nimeria German Shepherds
Dogs underfoot, puppy swinging from the robe, and a mission to clean the yard like it's a full-blown adventure.

Joy lives in the mess.
Love lives in the little moments.
This is the real me - getting the morning duties done - and we are happy.

(Side note: I didn't fall flat on my arse, so we’re calling that a win!)
