Well today on my trip to Katanning I got to groom some lovely dogs and one special dog I have been waiting months to meet in the flesh (and hair).
Orionsview Tully (Imp) from the UK, now residing in Kulin, working on a sheep farm in the wheat belt.
It was really a privilege to groom Tully today and get to know him and owner Jess, after growing up with and training NZ Hunterways it was such a privilege to chat to Jess about rough collies and their role as sheep hearding dogs.
I'm going to see this boy on a regular basis in the future and hopefully see if any of my collies have that herding instinct.

Well what a wet but successful weekend showing my collies.
Sat am show under udge Mr C Woodrow (Qld) Coolabine Sunlit Gracie won BOB and took out r-up in group 5 and junior in group, Coolabine Golden Posedion (Rip) took out puppy in group 5.
Sat pm under judge Mrs C Easterly (TAS) Gracie again took out BOB and Rip r-up

Sunday show under Mrs C Donaldson (Qld) Gracie was awarded BOB and junior in group and Rip was awarded puppy in group.
So proud of these two doing so well even after our little mishap on the way to the show this morning with the trailer parting company of the towball.

I would like to thank the wonderful judges who braved the awful weather and the hard working committee.
Also my Perth and Bunbury friends who helped hold and handled dogs with me.
And also thanks to Bunbury club for my beautiful rosette for Willow after gaining her final points last year.

I have been contacted by one of my friend regarding a little cavoodle needing a new home he is over 12 months old. please message me if you are interested in him, he will of course need grooming and clipping every 8 weeks

I have had to make a hard decision about cancelled bookings for grooming.
In the future, if you cancel on the day, a fee of $25 will be charged. I can not slot another dog into that spot at short notice.
