Summer went by so fast for this lil dude he didn’t have time for a hair cut, out and about, swimming in the weir with the family, late night plays with his siblings

Adelaide… gorgeous little lady loved her nail clip and file. Terriers, and not all terriers I might add, have a dislike for their nails to be cut. Whether it’s because of past trauma, they’ve been cut back too short and bleed or it’s a terrier thing, I don’t know. The best way to change a dog’s thinking about their nails, is to regularly trim them at home(if possible) file with an emery board and play with their feet often, preferably starting as a pup so they become accustomed to it

Harry’s first groom 🤎 at 20 weeks and what a well behaved boy he was. Harry’s mum wanted a short summer cut, but I managed to talk her out of it.
Puppies adult hair starts growing anywhere from 14-16 weeks sometimes starting later. That was the case for Harry. He’s a Cavoodle
Delaying the desire to clip puppies hair will promote a strong thick coat growth.
Clipping to soon can change the structure of the hair, resulting in uneven growth and varied thickness and texture in adulthood.
While being patient and allowing the adult coat to come through, brushing daily will prevent matting and also encourages confidence in preparing pup for a lifetime of grooming, and this is actually what Harry’s mum Pammy, has done.
