Father’s Day Fun Day

Our next event is the Father’s Day funday on September 14th. There’s been a slight change in the events and Jemma’s jungle will be replaced with straight barrels.
As you can imagine many hands make light work so if you are free to lend a hand either on the day or setting up on Saturday please send us a message, we would really appreciate the help.
A massive shout out to our funday sponsors Brown and Hurley and Wentworth electrical without our sponsors we wouldn’t be able to hold these days.
We hope those dads out there have a great Sunday and we hope to see you all next weekend 🤠

This weekend is our next club night, if you haven’t received any emails about our upcoming events and would like to keep updated please reach out to go on our mailing list. This weekends events will be the same as our Father’s Day events next month so it’s a good chance to practice.
Seeing as its also footy night feel free to wear you favourite footy teams colours, just remember arena dress code still applies.

As mentioned we were lucky to have 2 photographers this weekend capturing all the action. Please check out their work, the barrel racing and more can be found on their pages at Lisa Fryer Photography and Lucky Shot Photography.
All images are available to be purchased so if you find one you like please support them.

We also had a keen group of photographers from North Queensland Camera Group come and use our high speed event to practice on the technical side of photography. If you are interested in learning more about photography, or would like to join them get in touch and we can give the details for their club.

🔵 Rupertswood & District Horse Club Barrel Race Soectacular 2025 🔵

With the day well underway we would like to send as massive shout out to our corporate sponsors Camm Quarries and Concrete.

Along with our other sponsors Elite rodeo, donohues, Queensland hay and chaff, Parry’s plant hire and Yamaha. Without these guys these events can’t run.

We would also like to thank Shelly beans coffee, big boi hat company and Hunting collars and bags for coming along with their stalls plus all of our competitors and spectators for supporting our club and barrel racing.

We are also fortunate enough to have Lisa fryer photography and lucky shot photography capturing images from today’s action.

🔵 Barrel race spectacular 🔵

Just a few notes leading into the weekend

▪️As mentioned earlier this morning our area will be closed from today through until Monday to prepare the arena

▪️Nominations have been extended and close at midnight tonight so there’s still time to get yours in. We will still accept nominations on the day, they will however incur a late fee.

▪️We are always looking for volunteers, big events like this mean there’s always plenty to do so if you can lend a hand please don’t hesitate to contact us we will appreciate any help you are able to give.

▪️There will be 2 photographers on site capturing all the barrel racing action, we will provide details of them soon so you can view their work.

▪️We will have market stalls and a coffee van at the event. If you have a small business (or know of somebody with one) you’d like to promote with a pop up stall please message us, there is still plenty of room to join them.

▪️Canteen and bar will be open all day so spectators are more than welcome.
