A little housekeeping update, plus some new photos of Meiying 💛

We’ve noticed some delays in responses from our waiting list when babies are offered. To keep things fair and moving smoothly, we’ll be introducing a 72-hour response window to let us know whether you’d like to move forward or wait for a future litter.

This helps us manage admin time and ensures others on the list aren’t delayed. We’re also discussing whether to continue a waiting list long-term and will keep everyone updated.

As always, we welcome your feedback and appreciate your support 🐾

Good morning all 🌞 The weather is harsh around Australia at the moment. Some tips on keeping your fur babies cool is to place wet towels around the house on hard surfaces. You may also like to fill bottles with water and freeze and lay them on the towels. You can also buy cooling mats and cooling gel beds which are great. Never bathe your cat in the heat, instead use a damp cloth to wipe them over especially paying attention to the paws 🐾

Good morning all. I did say I wouldn't be online 😂 until January 5(emails will be answered after this date), but I wanted to upload these photos while they're fresh. On December 7th I posted that I would email the first five on our Golden British Longhair list and have not had three responses, so will open our list up again.

This litter is now five weeks old and an absolutely precious age. They're now litter trained and have started eating solids, and incredibly affectionate. Lots of purring, lots of cuddles, and they love being close and on you wherever possible. Yes, there are a lot of photos 😍 How could I not?!

The golden British longhair kittens are nearing five weeks old and starting out on solid foods. They have access to Royal Canin baby cat kibble and Royal Canin kitten mousse, plush fresh water. It’s very messy at meal times, but so worth it to see them tuck in. 🐾

Good morning everyone. I hope you’re all doing well, especially those who experienced the Mid North earthquake and this morning’s storm. ⛈️

Just a quick update to let you know that I’ve responded to all email enquiries this morning. Thank you to everyone who has reached out—our website contact form can be a little temperamental at times, so if you haven’t received a reply, please feel free to email us directly.

Here’s a photo of Berry’s babies taken this morning at just over a week old. A few little eyes are starting to open, and they’re all doing extraordinarily well.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Blakes Crossing Veterinary Service for their after-hours emergency care, and to The Vet Clinic at Angaston for their follow-up care with mum, Berry. Your support during such a stressful time has been truly invaluable. 🙏
