I received an update from Melissa the other day. Bonnie sure has grown. To quote Melissa “what happened to my baby?” 🥰🐶😂. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone myself. I might have to have a little chat to Bella and see how she feels about being a mumma again 🤔🤣💕💕

Happy Easter everyone 🐣🐰. I received an update on Dougie yesterday and a funny video of his sneaky antics. 🐶🐾❤️ Chloe writes:

“We've just recently had a pool put in (excuse the mess still not finished) but so far the only one getting to enjoy it is.... Dougie 🤭🤣🤣 safe to say he loves a swim and we often find him helping himself UNDER the fence to go for a Cheeky dip hahaha”

Happy bloodhound birthday to all of Bella and diesel’s puppies who turn 1️⃣ today 🥳🎉🐶

Melissa sent a photo of Bonnie’s birthday cake. She is one spoilt hound 😂🎂

Hey everyone. I hope everyone is all set for Christmas 🎄 Chloe sent me an update on Dougie the other day. She says:

“Hes a big boof head and has finally made his presence known with a good old Bay or Roo haha while barking at the dogs next door....

He is still quite mischievous and loves to dig to China and even sits in the pot plants at times minus the plant (yet to capture it as he gets out just as fast) 😅

Unfortunately he has had afew trips to the vets in the last few weeks, and turns out he has Entropion of the eyelids 😟 and will probably require surgery to fix it otherwise the eyelashes will keep causing ulcers and possibly blindness. He gets eye drops 4 times a day and pain relief as it gets quite sore for him. It's a big surgery one will have to save up for but for now he's doing ok 🙂”

She also wishes Dougie’s brothers and sisters and mum and dad well ☺️

My favourite photo is of Dougie snuggling and Chloe says he often falls asleep like this 🥰. Thank you for the update Chloe. Dougie has grown into a fine looking boy. I hope he makes a full recovery and you all have a Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 🎅🏻🐶

I apologise for being a bit late passing on this update from Jo Grant but she says that Henry is an absolute delight, total monster who is obsessed with water and mud 😍… and his favourite place is apparently sleeping on the lounge 💕🐶🐾

An update on Henry was provided by Jo this morning. You gotta love her nickname for him. It seems our hounds not only have a love of water 💦 but they have also developed a love of mud 😂🐶

She wrote: “Update from Henry Penny Winkle has a new love, he’s always loved water, but now he’s discovered MUD, I came out to head to work and he came running to meet me covered in mud and soooo happy, pictures don’t even come close to showing how bad it was 😳😂”

I received an update and some pics from Sampson Westriver today. The gorgeous Sarge🐶 has apparently fallen into the typical bloodhound lifestyle. ☺️💙

Sampson informed me that:
“Lazy bloodhound has officially kicked in, and if he can sleep, he will. Lucky the truck bunk is big enough to sprawl out. He still doesn't get why his sister won't share the bed lol and muddy puddles are his new play zone” 😂❤️

Another update from Melissa. Bonnie is so like her dad for her love of water. I have a feeling all of our Severn River Bloodhounds are water lovers 💦🐶

Mel is a great fur baby mumma too making sure feed time is healthy and hygienic 🐶❤️ And zoom in on Bonnie’s face in the last pic. It’s a cracker 🥰

Lyn sent me an update on Cooter.

She said:

“Cooter update he is everything you said he was ,super chill good boy who loves swimming and sticks and you have never been kissed until you have been kissed by cooter” ❤️🐶🥰

I miss these puppies so much sometimes. Although they aren’t really puppies anymore. The last photo is of the Cooter the day before he went to his furever home. They have grown so much ❤️

So Melissa sent an update of Bonnie today and I have to say this one is priceless 😂🥰. Below is the message she sent but apparently Mel and her other half tried to surprise each other with a new puppy and inadvertently ended up with two new fur babies. 😍🐶❤️ It turns out Bonnie is the bestest big sister and loves her new siblings ☺️

“Ok so we did a thing.... Mick ordered us a new bull arab puppy and I didn't know about it and then I got Mick another sheepdog puppy that I kept a secret from him....so within 4 days we had two new babies 🤣🤣🤣 introducing Meg (bull arab) and Remi (kelpie x huntaway).... Bonnie is the bestest big sister, before I got a chance to go and buy the new babies toys, Bonnie was bringing them toys out of her toybox 🤣🥰💕”

I think Meg and Remi are lucky to have a big sister like Bonnie 🥰. I could be biased though 😂

“Dougie loving his long walks, nose to the ground haha, we've noticed when he's on a trail he will whimper/cry?? 🤷‍♀️ not sure if it means something or not he's had a few woofs no big boy bark as yet 😆 getting bigger by the days now...

Jo has sent an update on Henry, the little,or not so little man we almost kept ❤️

“He’s been going to a local dog club he loves socialising with the other dogs, he’s not so keen on doing the ‘drop’ his is more of a ‘flop on his side’ but he’s very popular. He has a huge personality.”

“..is loving life, going to the park and chasing the dogs who are chasing the tennis ball! He is a pleasure and such a character. He is currently living his best life camping up fortescue river x”.

The gorgeous Dougie 🥰🐶

As Chloe pointed out the patch on his chest looks like a 💟. She also mentioned that as big as he is he still thinks he is a lap dog and he is a snuggle bunny (Aren’t they all?). He loves his treats and puts his paw out just like his daddy just because. He has learned how to be patient at dinner time until mum says it’s ok to tuck in, however, he still loves to eat the pot plants. And he is growing into an enormous lovable hound.

He is such a handsome boy. Thanks Chloe for the pics. 🥰

I got an update from Sampson Westriver over the weekend. Apparently sarge still feels he can fit in confined spaces with his hoomans 😂🥰…

“Sarge has been busy the last few months.
He's has been: in the air seeding in the paddock 🚜 helping dad build a compost bin 🍂, driving around in the back seat of the fuel truck checking out how the crops are coming up 🌱, pulling down old shed 🏚 and sniffing out rats 🐀 and rabbits 🐇, learning how to be a big boy and ride in the back of the landcruiser 🛻, and driving around with dad in the big Mack truck 🚛”

Our little, or not so little, holiday hound has the travelling bug and is currently holidaying in the whitsundays. Lucky dawg 😂🐶☺️

In Mel’s words…”Bonnie's holiday to the Whitsunday's..... beaches, fishing, waterfront cafes, bars and restaurants some that provides her with a pet bed and some with a doggy menu 🤣 it's safe to say she was absolutely spoilt by everyone she came into contact with 💜”

It’s wonderful to see that some places actually cater for our fur babies. ❤️🥰🐶

The gorgeous Henry! Jo says he’s growing into a huge man, very goofy loves to pull the roses and flowers of any plants he sees lol. He hasn’t barked yet just cries to get Jo’s attention, his biggest loves are teddy bears and her socks which he will steal at any opportunity. Such a beautiful big boy. Thanks for the update jo. ❤️🐶🥰

It’s been a while but I got some Chevy spam today from Krystel 🤗🥰🐶

Like all of his siblings he is growing big and growing quickly ☺️

In Krystel’s words, she says…

“He is growing up way too quickly and it kinda makes me sad!!
He’s got such a funny personality everyone that meets him falls in love with him!!!

My 5 year old bloodhound diesel is finally accepting him into the family which is amazing!
They are getting along nicely now!!

Chevy went and had x-rays done on his hips to make sure he didn’t have any underlying hip issues thankfully he was 100% okay!! He was such a superstar and recovered well!! He also received a bravery award!!!!”

Chevy is such a handsome boy and I can’t get enough of these updates. Thanks Krystel 🐶🥰❤️

Sampson Westriver went riding around the farm this afternoon on her push bike. Apparently sarge tried to keep up and now he’s plum tuckered out😂. Just beautiful 😍

Sampson Westriver sent me a couple of videos but this is my favourite. So sarge has mastered the art of tug o war against the big boys. Might be because sarge is nearly as big as his fur siblings already ❤️❤️. His hoomans requested a refund cos he is growing so big. I did mention big dogs thinking they’re lap dogs 😂. but I think if it came down to it they would never give him up..am i right sampson? 🤔😂 how could you not love that big slobbery mess? 😂🥰🐶

I got some Henry spam from Jo today. It appears he was very lucky to survive an “exploding💥feather pillow” while Jo was in the shower recently. He was very grateful that she saved him, poor baby 😂 😂

In other news, Jo says… “He started dog training at our local club a couple of weeks ago and instantly won everyone over, he’s going really well, but is easily distracted by ‘smells’ lol so in morning tea break one of the trainers started him learning scent work, with a few other dogs. We didn’t last the whole training session he fell asleep while he was supposed to be doing a ‘drop’ and I had to take a very sleepy boy home ❤️”
I love this update. Clearly it is super hard being so super cute 🥰 🐶❤️

Thanks Jo. We are looking forward to future update of Henry’s adventures.

I received some Dougie spam from Chloe today as well. He is growing so big as I’m sure all of his brothers and sisters are. A crow inspired him to work on his bae today but he is yet to perfect it 😂. And it turns out that his favourite place to be is either on the couch or on Chloe’s lap. I’m not sure how much longer he will get away with being a lap dog 😂🐶🥰❤️

I received an update from Callem today about Dutch. He and his aunty Milly have become best friends and are now inseparable. He has finally mastered the art of using the doggie door realizing that it actually swings both ways and he can get back in after going out😂. He can sit on command now and has learned dinner time rules in callum’s house. Thanks so much for the update 🥰🐶❤️
