This is little Pepper the cavoodle puppy. This is only her second grooming experience. During her first groom she was a lot more frightened with the dryer. You can see now although she’s still nervous she is settling a lot more. I like to encourage owners to get their puppies used to the grooming process from a young age. I like to use a “happy hoodie” over their ears to help muffle the sound of the dryer. I’ll start by using the lowest setting with the nozzle off aimed towards their bottom furthest away from their face. Pepper was not having any hair clipped from her body however I still used this time to introduce the clippers to her. Allowing her to hear the noise and feel the vibrations on her body. She is such a brave little pup. She was even falling asleep towards the end! 😍🐶💜
