It's that time of year again... well almost.
Our busy season is coming up quickly so we need to get as organised as possible (is that even a thing?!)
We offer per cycle packages for chilled and frozen semen, as well as ET. Please get in touch if you have any questions about the services we offer.

Is your horse is getting dental work without an educated vet, sedation, a bright light and mirror for examination of the whole mouth, and pink gloves?? You’re missing out! Do the right thing. Your horse will thank you for it.

They say it takes a village… we are glad to announce things are still in full swing here at AK&K! A big thank you goes out to all that kept the show on the road. Mum is back to look after your horses now. But also still very much looking after Billy.

Do you think your horse may have gastric ulcers? Symptoms of gastric ulcers include:
🐴 Poor performance
🐴 Weight loss or poor body condition
🐴 Increased girthiness or sensitivity
🐴 Inappetence or fussiness when eating
🐴 A dull coat
🐴 Behavioural issues

We are organising another gastroscope day thanks to Randlab on Thursday the 11th of April. The presence of ulcers is easily diagnosed with a gastroscope. There are limited spots available, please contact us if you are interested. 👏🏻 Price is $150,- for scoping and sedation

As the season slowly draws to an end, we want to thank all our clients and friends for their continued support in 2023.
During the last few months you all had the chance to meet Robin and Fi, our superstars for the ‘23 breeding season! We are so proud and grateful they spent time with us, and wish them all the best in their veterinary careers.
