Our Story

Paw-Fect Mobile Dog Grooming was my first business venture. At the tender age of 19 I decided the career as a secretary was not for me and pursued a new career in dog grooming. I found a lovely lady by the name of Michelle Thomas, a lady I will forever be in debt to, a lady who was kind and willing enough to share her skill of dog grooming with me. To this day I haven’t come across a better groomer than Michelle. She taught me the basics of grooming which launched me into a job with Snip-Pets Mobile Dog Grooming. Michelle and I both worked with this company for a few years before we branched out on our own. Michelle started K9 Capers and I started Paw-Fect! Together we took the Peninsula by storm. Our appointment books would always booked out, we would work weekends and late evenings to keep up with the pace. Since then a lot has changed, dog grooming has saturated the Peninsula and in turn become very competitive. Last I heard, Michelle was caring for wildlife and grooming a small number of clients dogs at home.

As many of my clients will know, I have recently relocated to the Country, the beautiful Goulburn Valley, to live with my handsome Fiance’ and brilliant musician, Mark. Life is much different, the pace being slower than I’m accustomed to, but I’m making many new friends and the locals are spreading the word that Paw-Fect Mobile Dog Grooming is offering an honest and reliable service, which country folk appreciate. In turn, I try to accommodate these friendly citizens by keeping my prices low and helping out by buying local produce where I can.
