DEFINITELY A FEW OF THOSE AROUND....

DODGY- Carly Zemunovic
We have dealt with Carly she could never make a correct stud service agreement contract for Eminem when asked for more then 3 times.
That was the give away she was DODGY.
And she blocked us😂

NAME & SHAME:

Don’t do business with Carly.

I purchased a stud service from Carly for Eminem August of last year. Carly spins a whole bunch of lies to get your money, then goes back on every single one of her agreements.

Carly then sold the stud to his current owner, without telling those of us who had purchased stud services from him. It wasn’t until it was posted on Facebook that I was aware - to which I’d also found out Carly had deleted me because I’d previously asked to be refunded due to the inconsistency in her actions, professionalism & was repeatedly told no.

Carly said new owner is aware of the service owed to me and it was stated that I wouldn’t have issues accessing when needed.

Not only was I being refused the return of my money, but she was making it extremely diffucult to either receive or sell my service.

Carly was paid in full - and it was only agreed that I’d then cover the collection, chilling and plane costs.

Carly has now blocked me on social media AND my phone number so that I can’t contact her for my money back.

Since I posted originally on my personal profile, I have had multiple people message me to say Carly has also done the same to them!

Carly has:
-Collected thousands of dollars in stud service payments from at least 4 people and then blocked them because she sold the stud dog.

-Bred and sold a stud dog on mains knowing he had health issues. The said dog was returned to her by the original owners because of the health issue and she then resold him on mains. Carly knew this dog had the health problem since he was born.

-Sold multiple dogs and pups on mains with hookworm infestations and 1 we know of so far with the hookworms + a heart murmur. Left the buyer nearly $10k deep in vet bills. A seperate breeder even had the infection spread to her litter of pups after recieving a dog she’d bought from Carly and 2 of those pups died.

-Sold an adult female on mains that Carly purchased from a breeder on pet papers and then typed up, printed and laminated a fake mdba mains pedigree and lied about the dogs dna / colouring. The dog was cocoa brindle covered in cream and she sold it as a lilac platinum 🤯

-Has not provided multiple people with their pedigrees

-Has had 4 prefix changes before cancelling her mdba membership because she was being called out left right and centre for selling sick dogs.

-Has cancelled her mdba membership and Now has moved onto bullies with the ABKC so anyone on that side of the fence, please be vigilant.

There is sooo much information that I’ve probably missed some of it but I will attach screenshots of everything we have so far and will update as new info comes in.

I wanted to touch base on a common issue that breeders come across with new owners.
This goes for adults rehomed as well.
𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙄𝘾 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎-
You see the breeders pictures and videos and the pups are all social. They are quiet in the pen.
The breeder shows you videos of them being totally relaxed, happy, playful.
All looks amazing and you bring your puppy home.
Then reality hits. The puppy may cry in the crate for the first few nights making you tired and agitated.
The happy social puppy is refusing to greet the half dozen overly excited friends you invited over to see your new puppy.
Or the overly excited playful children you have at home.
The puppy refuses to walk on a leash. Many are wondering how did my perfect puppy turn into a nightmare.
So let’s discuss realistic expectations of when a puppy goes home.
-First of all the puppy has been in the breeders home since birth. They had their mother and littermates. They had their routine, were taught expectations and were completely in their comfort zone.
Now suddenly they are taken to a totally new environment. Picture yourself being dropped into an unknown country, in a different part of the world.
You know only a few words of their language. Different sounds, smells, temperature, animals and people.
Now in the middle of this we are switching up your routine, possibly decide to have a party with people you don't know, and ask you to do jobs you have no idea about. Overwhelming to say the least.
This is what every puppy goes through when going to their new home.
Stress manifests in different forms. From not eating, reluctancy to play, and greet people. Being apprehensive at the vet’s office or as strangers reach for them.
Diarrhea, vomiting and depression can occur.
So what can you as a new owner do to help your little one acclimate?
-Most puppies take 2-4 weeks to acclimate to their new home.
Repeat after me THREE to FOUR WEEKS sometimes even Longer!
Not a 1-2 days.
I can’t stress this enough about how much time is needed for a dog or puppy to feel comfortable in their new home!
PLEASE limit guests during the first two weeks. We understand you are excited to show off your new baby but they need time to adjust. Plan on waiting 1-2 weeks before inviting people over.
- Ask guests to remove their shoes before entering the home to prevent germs from spreading to your new vulnerable puppy.
-Have guests sit on the floor/ground and wait until the puppy approaches them.
NO squealing and grabbing the puppy, as this is very frightening to them.
- Set up a good routine
- Restrict the puppy to a small area of the house. This not only reduces them being overwhelmed but also allows you to watch them
- Don’t expect a 8-12 week old puppy to walk on a leash.
Instead work at home with a leash where they are comfortable.
Let them drag the leash, use treats to encourage them to walk with you
- If your puppy is refusing to walk give them a good amount of time.
- Understand your puppy needs time to see you as family.
Expecting an immediate bond is unrealistic.
They will need to establish who the leader of the pack is in order to feel safe and understand the hierarchy of the family unit.
- Train your puppy. This not only helps you to bond but the puppy to look to you for direction and input.
-Children are also big stressors to tiny fragile puppies, please keep an eye on children around the puppy at all times.
The children may need to learn how fragile the puppy is and how scared it may be.
- Lastly, most importantly- BE PATIENT.
Don’t declare “omg there’s something wrong with this dog”.
Nothing occurs overnight.
Outings should be planned after the puppy has received ALL vaccinations and then only at the puppy’s speed.
So while you might imagine a fun walk around the lake in reality your puppy might only be able to handle walking a short distance that day.
They may be curious and energetic, they may become overwhelmed. Watch the puppy for cues on how to proceed.
Most outings for me take a long time, as I am often just standing still as the puppy cautiously explores the new environment. Patience is key!
Remember if the puppy was wonderful at the breeder’s house but now is struggling, you as the owner, need to help the puppy adjust which takes time, patience and training.
Have realistic expectations and give the puppy positive feedback and happy experiences.
Each puppy is an individual, don’t compare your current puppy to past pets and judge their behavior based on how another dog handled things. Lastly, try to see thing’s from a puppy’s perspective and adjust situations accordingly.
Love your puppy and they will love you 100 times more in return.

If you are interested in French Bulldog history, the first thing you should know is they originate from England, not France! “Frenchies” were first bred in Nottingham in 1800s by lace makers who wanted to create a small, miniature version of English Bulldog also called a “toy” bulldog.
In the 1860s when craftsmen moved to France, they brought their dogs along with them. They became popular there and were given the name French bulldogs. However, certain experts claim that these dogs were crossbred with Pug and Terrier and that is how we got to today’s French Bulldog. Even when the breed was brought back to England for dog shows the name French Bulldog remained.
So that is about it you need to know. There is nothing to worry about! Just keep these few rules in your mind if you own one of these adorable creatures and everything will be just fine! And don’t forget to love your little frenchie friend today!

Many commercial dog foods contain chicken or chicken by-products as a primary ingredient. Overexposure to chicken protein in these diets can lead to sensitization and the development of allergies in some dogs.
It's true that consuming chicken meat from birds with poor diets might indirectly impact human and dogs health. If chickens are raised in unhealthy conditions or fed a poor diet, they are more prone to diseases, infections, or contamination. Consuming meat from these chickens could potentially expose us humans and our dogs to pathogens or harmful substances. For example:
1. Bacterial contamination: Chickens raised in unsanitary conditions or fed inappropriate diets may carry bacteria like Salmonella or Campylobacter, which can cause foodborne illnesses.
2. Residue of antibiotics or other medications: If chickens are routinely given antibiotics or other medications to compensate for nutritional deficiencies or health issues caused by a poor diet, residues of these substances remain in the meat and be consumed by humans and dogs leading to antibiotic resistance or other health concerns.
3. Nutritional value: Meat from chickens with poor diets have lower nutritional value compared to meat from healthy chickens. This could indirectly impact our health if we rely on chicken as a primary protein source in our diet. Is chicken meat giving right nutritions for our dogs?

If a dog's diet is limited to chicken meat alone, it may not get enough of certain vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin C, or vitamin E, which are essential for various bodily functions including immune function, vision, and skin health.Similarly, a diet exclusively based on chicken meat may lack essential minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, and potassium, which are necessary for bone health, muscle function, and electrolyte balance
