With temperatures set to soar above 40°C across the Border and North East in the coming days, it’s essential to prioritise your pets’ safety and keep them cool.
Tips to Beat the Heat:
💧 Ensure constant access to fresh, cool water.
🌳 Provide shaded areas or keep pets indoors where it’s cooler.
🏃‍♂️ Skip midday walks—opt for early morning or late evening.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car, even briefly.
Know the Signs of Heat Stroke:
Excessive panting or drooling, Weakness or lethargy, Vomiting or collapse.
If you spot these signs, move your pet to a cool area and contact your vet immediately.

🐾 Meet Elroy, the Superstar! 🐾
Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Elroy, a fabulous Labrador with a heart of gold and a wagging tail that didn’t stop! 🎉

Elroy was the perfect patient during his vaccination visit – brave, calm, and full of cuddles. 🩺💉 He loved the delicious treats assistant Izzy provided, we take these little steps to ensure he stays happy and healthy for many more adventures & visits from us. 🌟

Big thanks to Elroy’s family for trusting us to care for their amazing doggo. 💕
