An amazing day with amazing people!
International Day of Yoga 2024 with Dhyan Foundation practitioners. After a blissful session spanning Asanas, Vedic Mantras, and Dhyan, we took to the park outside for a hearty lunch served free of cost for the community. And we were blessed to have the sun out in the midst of peak winter! ☀️
Events like these help us connect with and reach a wider community to spread the true meaning behind yoga and provide access to it free of cost for everyone. It was an honour to have esteemed member of the council - Mayor Matt Tyler Councillor Matt Tyler (Hobsons Bay City Council) join us for the entire duration of the event.

International Yoga Day 2024 with Dhyan Foundation practitioners. An excellent day to connect with the community to spread the true meaning behind Yoga and provide access to everyone free of cost. Thank you Councillor Matt Tyler of Hobsons Bay City Council for joining us for the event!

Thanks to Ruma and Karma Stories for hosting almost 50 people at the Seabrook Community Centre this morning as part of International Day of Yoga. Grateful to share a tasty home cooked Indian meal together in the park afterwards too.

Yoga classes are free and will take place at Seabrook Community Centre every Sunday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Bring a mat along - all levels are welcome and sessions are beginner friendly!

Help us help Henrietta and Hermione!
Pete crosbie and the vet came by to look at Hermione and Henrietta. Henrietta who only has one eye now, managed to get an eye infection and got treated for that.
Hermione had a cancer growth on her inner eyelid which was removed. We are very lucky to have noticed it on time...before it spread to her eye. Both the girls are getting extra love and treats at the moment for behaving so well during the entire vet procedure.

Karma Stories is a forever home to numerous Desi Cows. 🐮
Cows are innocent, selfless animals. They nourish and nurture us. In the Atharv Ved, the cow is called ‘the giver of all bounties’.
The milk of the Indian/Desi breed of cows (also knows as Brahman cow here in Australia) carries the beneficial A2 protein, that is not found in any other animal’s milk. (As we speak of milk, one will only reap its benefits when the calf is given its share first, no hormones are introduced, and the cow lives a happy & pain-free life). The dung of the Desi cow makes soil so fertile, it gives rise to the sweetest of vegetables and fruits, and is therefore an excellent manure for agriculture and farming.
