Yasmina
"Hi everyone I'm toy bunny Yasmina. I was rescued from an op shop by a wonderful supporter of the rescue. I spent 3 months in foster care before being adopted. In foster care I lounged around with my bunny friends watching tv.
This week I travelled with a volunteer, on the train to the big smoke. My first challenge was reaching the myki machine to check in. I made sure I got a window seat, so I could enjoy the views along the way. Coming into the city, I saw lots of big lego blocks stacked on-top of each other going far up into the clouds.
When we got off the train, we road the escalator to the street level. Good thing I'm great at hopping, as it's tricky navigating the escalator steps. We rode the bread and jam (that's what us country folk call the tram) to a big theatre, where the lovely lady who adopted me, met me to take me home. I look forward to city life, cause you can get lots of fresh Asian greens from the markets. But most importantly, I know I will be loved and cared for.
Many of my soft toy bunny friends are still waiting to be adopted. You can welcome them into your home, $20 for one or $30 for two!. 100% of the proceeds go back into the rescue. Scroll through the comments to see some of my friends up for symbolic adoption and message the page if you wish to adopt.
Have a great weekend everyone
Love Yasmina🐰💕"
Milo & Miss Daisy
🐰AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION🐰
Or Foster🏡
Bonded Duo Milo & Miss Daisy - Mini lop and Flemish Giant - located in Bendigo, Vic - microchip 956000016297198 / 956000016311128
Miss Daisy and Milo are our cherished duo. This inseparable pair share an adorable bond that will brighten up any home. Suited to an indoor haven with plenty of room to roam and cozy spots to lounge, these two can strike a perfect balance between finding new adventures and enjoying the comfort of home.
Miss Daisy, the younger of the pair at two and a half years, is playful and fearless by nature. She loves to keep herself occupied by showcasing her skillful stacking cup tossing, swiftly navigating through tunnels and munching on her chew toys in a delightful bout of 'bunstruction'. She basks in your attention and loves a good pat but prefers to keep her paws firmly on the ground.
Complementing Miss Daisy’s zestful spirit is her partner Milo, our darling five-year-old known affectionately as the ‘teeny tiny boy’. Milo prefers to spend his days lounging around, observing Miss Daisy while she’s engaged in her playful pursuits. You are likely to find him in a cozy corner, watching the world go by or taking a leisurely nap.
Although these two furry friends don’t particularly enjoy being picked up, they love spending time with their humans and are always ready to receive a good petting. The sight of furry Milo and dynamic Miss Daisy scampering around the house will undoubtedly add a delightful spark of joy to your life.
So, if you’re on the lookout for a charming duo whose love for each other matches their love for their humans, these two might just be the perfect fit for your family!

✴️ZERO✴️
It was another BIG day in rescue yesterday with a long drive from Bendigo to Olinda with beautiful Zero onboard.
Zero's x-rays showed a fracture in his spine which means he won't be able to hop again. This hasn't stopped Zero from living his life to the fullest. He is very resilient and shows us, nothing will stop him from getting around.
Thanks to Judi, from Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage we were able to fit this little champion with a wheelchair which he accepted with great anticipation.
I am ever so grateful to work with wonderful rescues to help create brighter futures for rabbits. Zero moved around in his wheelchair like it was made for him. He picked it up very quickly, going forward, backward and doing loop de loops. Zero; full of excitement, couldn't wait to show Uno his new wheels.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supports our efforts, to help make moments like this, possible for the beautiful souls in need. I'm honoured to share Zero's love with you all. Please enjoy his photos and videos ❤️
Vet
Friday was a BIG DAY at the vets for our rescue bunnies.
Zeke went to The Rabbit Doctors in Melbourne, for desexing and microchipping.
Zero, Uno and Ultimate Cookie, saw Dr Kara McIvor Road Vet Centre for their health check ups.
Ultimate Cookie came into care with GI stasis caused by stomach ulcers, ear infections and in need of dental work. Since receiving the medical attention and care he needed, yesterday he received gold stars of health from Dr Kara. Ultimate Cookie will continue to have regular ear cleans and vet checks to make sure he stays in tip-top condition.
Uno also received great results and has a booking for her first dental procedure as she's now healthy enough to undergo surgery.
Zero has a fractured spine and won't be able to hop again. He has been thriving in care, showing us that nothing will stop him from living a full life. His resilience is inspiring and his speed is impressive. Today, we are on road trip in air conditioned comfort, to have him measured up for a wheelchair.
Adopted bunny Christmas
Please enjoy the wonderful Christmas highlights with some of our adopted bunnies. Thank you, to their forever families for allowing us to share these beautiful moments of gift giving, treats and love🎄💚
