๐Ÿฆ  How to Prevent Your Dog from Contracting Parvovirus ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’‰

Prevention is always better than a cure, and when it comes to the deadly parvovirus, vaccination is the safest, most effective (and affordable) way to protect your pet!

๐Ÿพ Vaccinate Early & Keep Up with Boosters:
Start vaccinations at 6-8 weeks old and complete all 3 puppy shots by 16 weeks. Keep up with booster shots for life.

๐Ÿพ Keep Puppies Isolated:
Donโ€™t let puppies interact with other dogs until 2 weeks after their final vaccination (around 16 weeks).

๐Ÿพ Avoid High-Risk Areas:
Stay away from dog parks, boarding kennels, and public spaces until your puppy is fully vaccinated.

๐Ÿพ Be Careful with Shared Spaces:
Use fake grass or a dedicated patch for training if you're in a rental with an unknown yard.

๐Ÿพ Clean & Decontaminate:
Clean toys, bowls, and bedding with bleach to kill the virus. Consult your vet for the best cleaning methods.

๐Ÿพ If You Suspect Parvovirus:
Isolate your dog and contact your vet or an emergency animal hospital immediately.

๐Ÿ’™ Keep Your Dog Safe!
Prevention is key to avoiding the heartache of parvovirus. Vaccinate, protect, and be proactive in keeping your dog safe.
