It’s getting quite soggy here on the farm with all the recent rain!! Not that the kids seem to care… it’s just another day of playing for them! 😁🥰

Yoda, being the chilled out, low-fuss goat that she is, delivered twins through the night and had them all cleaned off and up and about by the time I woke up in the morning. An 87.5% boy and girl. Little cuties. 🥰

First time Mum, Zara, surprised us with triplets! Two boys and a girl 83.59%. She wasn’t overly big so we expected only one, possibly two bubs. All are teeny tiny and love a cuddle. 🥰 The last born (boy) was significantly smaller than the other two, and a little weaker, so he’s receiving some extra TLC. Zara’s picked up on this also and is always keeping him close. Such an amazing first time Mum. ❤️

A beautiful set of twins for Ellie 🩷💙 AND little Poppy has also joined their family! 😍 Ellie is an amazing Mum and milk producer, and I thought I’d try my luck with slipping Poppy in during the kidding to see if she would be accepted as Ellie’s own. It fortunately worked and Poppy is being fed and nurtured along with the twins, and is loving having a brother and sister to play and cuddle with. 😊 We’re over the moon!

Unfortunately, not all births go according to plan. Zoe kidded a beautiful little girl on Saturday night, but the second bub presented incorrectly and became stuck. We were able to correct most of the positioning but a vet was eventually needed and sadly, the bub didn’t make it. Zoe was reunited with her first bub the following morning, but as she never got to bond with her (as the second came so quickly after), Zoe didn’t accept her. We’re so very thankful though, that Zoe is ok after the ordeal and she is being as spoiled as she possibly can be.❤️ Introducing her precious little bundle… Poppy.

Yesterday, we said goodbye to these gorgeous twin boys. 💙 We know they’ll be well loved by their lovely new family and will no doubt bring plenty of fun and entertainment to the farm. Little sweethearts. 🥰

And once the little cherubs have finished their muesli, they are let back into their main pen where chaff and hay await, to munch on for the rest of the day. Oh, to be waited on! 😆 I appreciate the little thanks I get on the way back in. 💕

Now, that’s a more civilised way of feeding! For me anyway. 😆 I finally set up an area where I can place out breakfast for the goats, and let them in once it’s ready, rather than have them all under my feet the whole time. 😁 Just need to fix the gate so it swings both ways!

What a fantastic day had at the Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day! We met a lot of wonderful people and the goats were spoilt rotten with pats and cuddles. Smiles all round. 😊

Maturation is fast in this one! Little Pedro… Quiet and cuddly just a matter of weeks ago, to now a vocal, stinky little buckling! 😆 Oh, how I love this little guy… and so do the girls it seems! Excited to see his offspring! 💙

The kids are growing beautifully and have big appetites. Time for their own breakfast bowls! Little Liquorice appeared to be drawing the short straw at feed times from Mum, so is now supplemented with bottles. Although, her sisters have FOMO and can’t possibly miss out on a suckle too! 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

Our herd matriarch, Maddie, delivered two beautiful 75% boys this afternoon, after a long morning of contractions. Well done Mumma! They’re both absolutely gorgeous and we’re looking forward to watching them grow. 💙💙
