Fortunately, our facilities are equipped to handle the rain and drain quickly, enabling us to continue our work with the horses, the grass is flourishing and growing at an incredible rate, but we are having difficulty keeping up!

Today we bid farewell to a beloved client, whose remarkable progress in a short time has been truly inspiring! He's blossomed into a shining star, and now it's time for him to rest and nurture his mind for a couple of months. We may have the joy of seeing him again in the new year ❤️❤️❤️

Today I took one of our OTTBs into town! We made friends along the way that allowed us to grab a drink & a short snack before making our way home! Was so lovely meeting the owners of the new shop in town too ❤️

I complained about working horses in the heat, but now I'm singing 'rain, rain, go away' - me and the ponies are pruney and done with this wetness after every session, haha! 😂🤣

I’m a trainer that’s always going to be straight with you always, the good, the bad & everything in between ! I’ve had this boy going on 3 weeks, first two weeks were basically desensitising & mouthing, unfortunately this week we’ve had ridiculous amounts of rain however we still battled through.

This little man has been through so much with prior “Horse Breaker / Dealer” I unfortunately didn’t get his first saddling on video due to being home alone but “quiet” like he was advertised is definitely NOT it however we’ve pushed through some tough walls.

Unfortunately if people met him and seen some of the ways he reacts they’d claim him dangerous and nasty which hes not. He is scared & protective of himself and I don’t blame him. This video shows his first ride under saddle, although he’s great in the lunge & mouthing gear he’s very stuck in his feet under saddle.

Quiet movements and clear instructions is best but sometimes they still don’t understand. Encouraging them to take 1 small step is rewarded with a big praise. We’re re very proud of this boy however he still has a fair way to go 💜💜

We've got a stunning boy joining us for training after a 2-year paddock vacation, and he will be up for grabs! Will he be a show-off in Showing, a thrill-seeker in Jumping, a diva in Dressage, or a pony club star?

How fortunate are we? SB has fitted the round yard with some lighting, allowing us to overcome the heat on sweltering days! Moreover, it provides an excellent means of desensitizing horses. 🐴

Lucky Luna demonstrated exceptional performance tonight first time under the lights, showcasing a significant improvement in her responsiveness to commands and a notable reduction in stress-induced episodes. 💜

Working with horses can be difficult, particularly when obtained from a dealer. This specific horse experienced a problematic start, with an accelerated breaking process, shortcuts taken, and insufficient care.

Nevertheless, his youth permits retraining, demonstrating that uncertainty and mistakes can be rectified, facilitating growth and learning. We sympathize with the owners' difficult situation but appreciate their willingness to collaborate with us to provide this stunning horse a second chance at a fulfilling life.

Jasper, you're making great strides! His training approach combines affection, groundwork, and ridden work. If riding becomes unengaging or the horse appears apprehensive or uncertain, remember that you don't always need to ride to achieve your goals. Occasionally, reverting to long reining and lunging can be just as beneficial! ✨

This week, we are pleased to announce the arrival of two new client horses, both of whom have had tough beginnings but are now in the care of dedicated owners who strive to offer the highest quality of life and prove that life can be kind.

We look forward to helping the owner achieve these goals and we can’t wait to see them blossom 🥰

Jasper Update, despite inclement weather, has made significant progress, demonstrating increased confidence and trust. We successfully encouraged him to adopt a vulnerable position, indicating trust. Furthermore, Jasper exceeded expectations by walking, trotting, and cantering with a friend. We have since focused back on groundwork to maintain his confidence.

We are very proud of this boy 💜

Forming a connection with your horse on the ground strengthens your partnership in the saddle, and remember, horses can appreciate their time without necessarily riding them . 💜💜💜

Yesterday marked our farewell to Poppy, whom we dropped off after a brief yet enjoyable stay. The photos illustrate her growth, with the top image dating back to her arrival and the bottom one taken at departure. We wish her well in her future pursuits and will fondly remember her morning whinny’s.

Jasper! Isn’t he an exceptionally handsome? He arrived today and participated in a brief session this evening to gauge his comfort level with various activities; initially, he was hesitant about water exposure but gradually became accustomed to it after a few minutes. 🩶🩶🩶

We are delighted to welcome Jasper to our team tomorrow.

As a 9-year-old unbroken Quarter Horse gelding, he brings an exciting prospect. Originally bred, born, and raised on a farm, Jasper's circumstances changed when his family relocated, and he was left with a neighboring family, who, despite their affection, has encountered some difficulties with him and only want the best for him.

We look forward to discovering Jasper's capabilities in the near future.
