Emmy's Handraised feathered friends BOWEN NTH QLD. We handraise a variety of parrots for pets. We also offer visits to your home to care for your animals while you are away.

Cats, dogs, birds, chooks, guinea pigs, fish, reptiles, horses, cows, pretty much any pet/animal.

Meet Sh****ad. He's a male rainbow lorikeet. We don't know how old he is, but he was found 2years ago. Was advertised but nobody would claim him. He has a bad attitude at times. Especially where plastic is concerned. He will fly at you and bite you if you take it away. And then tell you to f$%k off after he has bitten you. Even though he's tame, we can't say if he was handraised or just found as a juvenile.
He is up for r3h0ming. He would be good as an aviary bird, hopefully with a girlfriend.
BUT
If he's going to be kept as a pet:
No children under 16
No elderly people
Preferably a Male, he prefers males to females.
He does have a cage.
Please understand because of his tendency to be a sh****ad, he won't be going to the 1st person who wants him. We are going to be picky.

Peela(lutino scaly) is normally trying to get close to Emmy(quaker) but Emmy doesn't like anyone. So poor Peela normally gets chased off. This time Peela wasn't backing down. And neither was Emmy. After I stopped laughing I tried videoing it.

We have a gorgeous ringneck & a beautiful blue pallid Quaker. Then to make life very interesting, our 4 pairs of rainbow lorikeets decided to all go down about the same time. 2 or 4 lorikeets are enough mischief. But 8 is going to be mayhem. 🤣🤣 it's a good thing we like them. We have 4 pieds, 1 lutino, 1 grey/green & 2 normal rainbow lorikeets.

Jojo & Treenie our Grey green rainbow lorikeets have produced another Lutino. When they 1st started breeding they produced a lutino, then it was 4 clutches before another lutino. The last 3/4 clutches we've had, had a lutino in each one. There might not be any more cockatiels, but there is 8 rainbow lorikeet bubs. 2 normal, 4 df pied, 1 Grey green & a lutino rainbow lorikeet.

Our cockatiel season is officially over now, our beautiful pairs will now rest until March next year. Thank you to all those parents who have our gorgeous burbs, and for anyone who is wanting a beautiful burb watch this space from April onwards.
A very happy Christmas and may next year be even more spectacular, from us all here at Emmy's Handraised feathered friends. ❤️❤️❤️🐦🐦‍⬛

He's baaaaack! Sh*thead's (yes that's his name, very well earned) mum & dad had to make an emergency trip. So of course they could only think of us to look after him. I think everyone else said no because he's a vicious little sh*t. 🤣 But according to dad he's turned into a beautiful bird since his last stay with us. Yeah right. 1st day, he bit me. He does have an unusual fascination with anything plastic.
