At Retford Park Bowral, thank you to everyone who came down to say Hi! 👋
We had an absolute ball, seeing a lot of familiar faces and waggy-tails! And everyone who enquired it was a fantastic day all about dogs! Thank you to Retford Park for hosting such a wonderful event. See you next year! 🐾

Every session is personalised to suit your dog’s needs, this may include:

✨ Why does grooming cost what it does? ✨
Dog grooming is such a rewarding job, but behind the scenes it is a lot of work!
We love making your dogs feel and look amazing when they leave, and every groom we have spent hours to accomplish this! 💚
Unfortunately the reality is grooming salons do close unexpectedly and groomers retire early all the time. Why?
The biggest reason is burn out to cover costs of running a salon. 🙏Trying to achieve budgets to cover these expenses, by booking maximum dogs in every day which in return leads to not 100% quality which we strive for, and burnt out staff. ✨
We and all salons want to stay open for as long as we can! So charging adequately is a necessity, especially for small local businesses like ourselves!

✨ Updates for Training services! ✨
All of us at The Woof Shed could not be more grateful for our amazing client base who has supported us since opening! As we take our next steps into the new financial year, we must acknowledge the increasing costs of running a small local business; and to always assure we continuously provide the best quality services to all our wonderful clients.
With this being said the Training services will have a slight increase starting next week.

Every training sessions is catered to your dogs specific needs. This may include help with leash manners, reactivity on walks, exposure to certain environments, confidence building and so much more!

✨ Temporary foster home needed! ✨
For beautiful girl Coco, she has been coming to The Woof Shed since a puppy and needs a loving home for her for 6 - 8 weeks!
Coco is a loving 6 month old black and tan Kelpie, fully vaccinated and all her worm, flea and tick prevention is up to date! 🐾
All of her food, training sessions and daycare will be covered as well! 💚

✨ Meet the Groomers! ✨
Welcoming our amazing team of Groomers! 🙏 We are so lucky to have these girls in the Salon, grooming is not just their job but their passion! I’m sure you have seen their smiling faces around, and if not make sure to say hi!👋
💚 Meg - Is our amazing Salon Manager with 6 years of experience! Meg previously managed a Salon down the coast for 5 years, completing her courses to become a Qualified Advanced Stylist! Grooming is her absolute passion; as it involves being creative and spending every day with dogs! Meg has also worked as a Vet Nurse, and dog trainer. She also currently has her own pet portrait & photography business! ✨
💚 Alana - One of our brilliant Groomers who started with us a bather and now is completing her grooming training after finding her passion in the salon! Alana has always had a love for dogs, she currently also works at The Woof Shed as a dog trainer when she isn’t in the Salon! She also has her own pet sitting business! Alana is a wonderful part of our team!
💚 Eliza - One of our talented groomers! Who has recently joined our amazing team! She has been in the grooming industry for 3 years, and previously worked at a doggy daycare where she found her love for grooming! She has always loved dogs and making them feel and look their absolute best! She is currently completing her training of breed specific grooms! Eliza is an incredible part of our team!
