God they crack me up🤣 #pygmygoats #goats
When you go out to check on the goats and the big one has pulled the shade sail down enough to climb on and weigh it down so the little ones can all climb on for some fun on the new goat hammock trampoline🤣

I’ve had a few people ask about our brushing post, so thought I would share some photos to show how it was made.
It’s just an old pine pole sunk into the ground, with a bunch of brushes screwed into it. These brushes are medium stiffness, but I think fairly stiff bristles would also work and be appreciated by goaties.
The brushes are at Pygmy goat height, but you could add some higher ones if you have bigger goats.
Ours scratch their faces on the brushes as well as along their bodies.
It’s definitely a welcome addition to their paddock that they all use everyday.

A quick ‘around the farm’ tour before the rain came back this morning.
Very thankful that our goaties and horses survived the storm last night and we managed to add a very nice 36ml of rain to our tanks.
I’ve been sick the last couple of weeks so Presley has resorted to brushing his own hair🤣
I provide the brush and Presley provides the entertainment 🤣
Oh why do bucks have to get so stinky?
Presley is such a cuddle bug but I am not sure how much long I am going to be willing to scratch him with my bare hands 🤣
Presley couldn’t wait for his dinner😆 #NationalPygmyGoatDay #pygmygoats #cutegoat
Presley learning to walk on the lead. He is so much less melodramatic with the process than the girls were 😆

It was all hooves on deck yesterday helping with some paddock improvements 🤣
The first way to a Pygmy Goat’s heart may be through her stomach with wheat-bix, but the second way is with a good scratch in all the right places😁

So pleased with these beautiful
babies. I’ve been working with them on pressure and release, but this morning this was the first time I had put a collar and lead on Dusty and Drover. Such clever kids they are🥰
