On Sunday night we welcomed some beautiful little beans into the world thanks to our girl Moof!
We have one black and tan female, a black and tan male and a chocolate and tan dapple male all doing very well.
Unfortunately, Moof also delivered another black and tan boy who was born unresponsive and despite our best efforts, wasn’t able to be revived. Our gorgeous dapple boy also needed a little help with his start to life but is now doing amazingly.
We’re taking a few days to settle in and let Moof ease into motherhood, which she has taken to with ease. Formal intros and name reveals to come 🫶🏼

It has just come to my attention that we never formerly introduced this spunky little girl to the gram! Some of you may recognise her as the Black and Tan pup from our very first litter! The husband and the kids fell in love with her and despite my best efforts not to get attached, she became our keeper girl. She is an absolute lunatic and so full of energy but brings us lots of laughs and joy. Her name is Moof (like woof with an M) which came about from my husband who had a Rottweiler as a child called Boof. Moof = Mini Boof 😂 luckily for us a Moof is an alien like creature from Star Wars so fits with our sci-fi theme 😉

Thought it was about time we introduced the face(s) behind the Sci-fi Sausages!
This is our crazy fam bam of 6 kids - yes you read that right SIX 😂 our oldest four are in school and my husband and I both work full time. We use our annual leave to ensure we can give our full attention to our girls while they whelp and raise their bubbas. To say our life is a little hectic would be an understatement, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It took many years of back and forth deliberations before deciding our hearts lay with dachshunds and we began our breeding journey. Our puppies are so well loved and never short on cuddles (supervised of course)
Hubby is a big sci-fi fan so enjoy our themed litter names 🫣
We’re in the process of building our dream home on 20 acres and can’t wait for the extra space for the kids and dogs to run around.
Trying to make a consistent effort to post more and share our journey - when I get 5 minutes to think 🤪Thanks for following along ❤️
