😜Fun Fact Friday!😜
Did you know that just like humans, rats can be ticklish too! Researchers have discovered that rats emit ultrasonic giggles when they are tickled in a playful manner. These ultrasonic vocalizations are too high-pitched for us to hear, but they can be detected with special equipment!🐀

Hi everyone!
We have so many new followers so I thought I would do an Introduction so you can put a face to the name.
My name is Connie and I am 16 years old! My passion for all things rodents started when I was 13 and I got my first mischief of girls named Caramel, Cream and Cheese.
At 14 I got introduced to the lovely team at Rachie's Ratirement Home and the amazing team helped me learn so much more about them and expand my passion.
Through my mum I was able to start fostering babies who needed care and I have helped probably 50 rats with varying needs from maternity cases with babies to trust training.
In 2022 I decided to take my passion further and started Connie’s Rat-sitting service!
I have bookings almost every week and I love what I do!
Little (but obvious) fact about me is I have Autism and ADHD. I don’t let this hold me back from what I love. I go to school full time and this year I start at Tafe to gain my formal qualifications in Animal Studies and have a goal to become a vet or biologist - time will tell!
I love what I do and my clients are always really happy! If you need some help caring for your babies while you are away I would love to help you!

Hi everybody! I am so sorry to inform you all but we are fully booked from the 19/12/22 until the 01/01/23!
We cap our bookings so that we can give all the love and attention to our guests we can! We have limited avalibility for the remaining of the school holidays.
Bookings for holidays and long weekends go very fast! Get in quick if you would like to book us for the Australia Day if you are planning to away and make It a long weekend.

We regret to advise that we have been fully booked for both long weekends during the October school Holidays!
We keep our bookings to a minimum so that we can still take on urgent cases from Rachie's Ratirement Home should they need us to!
If you have holidays planned during peak times we recommend messaging us in advance to secure dates for your little babes! 🐀🥰

Did you know - that we don’t just offer awesome boarding services for your babies while you’re away - but we foster regularly for Rachie's Ratirement Home! We currently have 2 maternity cases in our care and the sweet sounds of 17 tiny babies!
If you’re booked for boarding in the next few weeks make sure you lock extra time away to cuddle these babes and keep an eye out as they will undoubtedly be needing new homes in the coming month and take it from us - these Floofs are as sweet as they come! 💕

Doesn’t Barnam have the cutest snoot! So tempting to boop but given he is deaf and blind, we don’t want to spook the little baby!
He’s had a weekend with us and has been the best boy! His mum wants another trip camping next weekend so we get more snuggles again soon too! 💕
