Sally has just completed her third week of support coaching at Building Better Dogs
So much more confidence
So much more relaxed
Thank you so very much to Helen and her team
We can now begin to look for Sammy’s next forever home
This is the basis for Sally’s new Bio
Beautiful girl Sally is the type of dog that you fall in love with straight away. She has such a soft sweet nature. Sally has a great work ethic and always tries her hardest to please. She’s a bit of a worrier and when she first came into care would pace and bark a lot when left alone. This is definitely a lot better now but she is not a dog that would be suited to being in a backyard for long hours while people are at work. She needs to be allowed to live in the house with her family and I imagine she would be a great dog to snuggle up on the couch with. Sally is a gentle dog with a good level of obedience (all credit to her previous family). Sally is learning that she does not have to exhibit that strong distance increasing behaviour when she sees another dog. There is still some conflict in her body but she’s doing really well at managing that and I’m not sure if you noticed in the video of her with the blue staffy, she was very briefly, a bit flirty with him!
Although I think we will still be looking for an only dog home for Sally, did you see the butt wiggle ?
Sally is doing so well Building Better Dogs
She really wants to please
Good job Sally
