A friendly reminder of common Easter treats which are toxic to our beautiful fur babies 🐶❌
CHOCOLATE
Chocolate contains caffeine and the chemical compound
‘theobromine’, which is toxic to pets. This is because dog’s (and cats) digestive systems can’t break them down in the same way as humans. The chemicals build up and can cause organ disease and failure if not treated.
GRAPES/SULTANAS/RAISINS (HOT CROSS BUNS)
These are all potentially poisonous to dogs. If eaten they can cause gut problems and in serious cases, kidney failure. The toxic dose varies from dog to dog, but in some cases, can be very small (i.e. some dogs don’t have to eat much of the fruit to become poorly).
🧡 IMPORTANT: Make yourself familiar with the 24hr emergency vet hospitals that are close to you and have their number saved in your phone.
Enjoy this time with friends and family, keeping a close eye on those with 4 legs and fur 🐶🐰🫶🏼

Annual October Play date! Which just happens to fall the day before my birthday this year 🥰🐶 There was so much love, support and laughter today.. exactly what I wished for and I am extremely grateful. I even teared up today feeling so overwhelmed in all the rights ways 🫶🏼 Can’t believe how quick this year has flown! Our next event and the last for 2023 is our annual Xmas Playdate! 🎅🏼 - Sunday 10th December - AM (time TBC)📍Kalinga Park 🎄Professional photographer coming AND I’ve heard that Santa will be making an appearance! 🎁 Secret Santa for the pups
