So Sammy did a thing tonight…

After 2 months of early morning training sessions 🚴 and a few fun hydro sessions with Canine Hydrotherapy & Wellness, Sammy can now add her Endurance Test title to the end of her name… pending Dogs Qld approval, she is now:

AUST CH OROPOURO SOURDOUGH SAM ET

Massive thanks to the support crew that hung in through my updates tonight 😘

For those wondering… an Endurance Test involves the dog running 20km at 10km/ hour in 3 segments (8km, 6km & 6km) with vet checks in between where their temperature & heart rate need to return to normal in order to proceed & pass. The dog must also do a willingness test before & after the run.

A bit slow on posting results… but a couple of weeks ago, we finally had the opportunity to show Sammy under some Canadian judges & of course our girl didn’t disappoint us coming away with:

3 x Challenge Bitch/ Runner up Best of Breed
3 x Reserve Challenge Bitch
1 x Intermediate in Group

So happy that Sammy came away with wins under both Canadian judges
