A beautiful little yellow faced whipsnake (Demansia psammophis) from a dance studio. Although mildly venomous I find these guys absolutely adorable. Avid supporters of Mo-vember all year round with their cute little moustache on their snoot, they also commonly wear a dusty red cape and have beautiful eye make-up.

All jokes aside snake identification and relocation is always best left to the professionals 😊

Hey guys, I understand I don't post much. This is due to the fact that I put the welfare of the animals first. If I happen to get some happy snaps or I come across an educational moment that is when you will see the photos you love.

Well guys it looks like I am back. I will be serving the redland city community with both catching and rescues. This community has been very caring about these animals so far and I look forward to both educating and saving these poor animals.

It is with great sadness that I must inform you all I am indefinitely hanging up my hook and bag.

I have been presented with new more effective ways I am able to help protect Australia's beautiful wildlife and will be taking the opportunity.

Thanks everyone who has taken time to teach and mentor me along the way and my number will still be active if anyone needs advice or information on these beautiful animals or if you need to report. Any injured wildlife.

Thank you all for taking this part of my journey with me.

Photos definitely don't do this stunning eastern brown justice, but it was rescued from netting and released safely. The only reason this was a good outcome for the animal is the fast call to me from the property owner. Please realise that this type of netting is extremely harmful to all wildlife. Check comments for the rascals release.

Today I had the privilege to relocate this beautiful brown tree snake out of a server room. Brown tree snakes are the only colubrids in this area that are venomous, although only mildly and are rear fanged. Also being nocturnal I released in a place it could hide until dark.

By far my favourite snake... this is a keelback, not only do they have awesome little personalities, they also eat cane toads! But if you are on the outskirts of Brisbane be a little bit careful as they look similar to the possibly life threatening roughscale snake. But if in doubt call a professional!

Absolutely stunning coastal carpet. Unfortunately it had eaten a flying fox that was possibly causing damage internally. After a vet check and a bit of time in rehab he was released successfully.

Beautiful coastal carpet python removed from a chicken pen today. Its important to remember pythons who have recently eaten can be defensive if approached while they're seeking a quiet place to digest and rest. If interfered with they may regurgitate their meal for you to dispose of. It's also important to take this into account when choosing a relocation site. Ideally snake's are left near their home however if unsustainable, a new site is sought offering water, shelter and wild food source Wise to remember reptiles may be attracted to your livestock so being proactive and snake proofing your property is advisable
