CHARLIE
BORDER COLLIE

Charlie is our big beautiful border collie who through no fault of his own has found himself in rescue, but we are pretty happy about that because Charlie is GORGEOUS and we are enjoying spending time with him.

Charlie is deaf, perhaps not completely, as his foster says he reacts to a dog whistle sometimes. Because of this Charlie's new forever home needs to have another dog who Charlie can use as his ears and also give him security.

He is quite the snuggle bunny and will happily sleep up on a bed if allowed. He is toilet trained and walks very well on a halti collar lead. He does not nuisance bark.

He loves other dogs and loves to play zoomies around the yard. Walks to the park are always fun and he enjoys meeting new people and their dogs. He is very sociable.

We are hoping to find Charlie a home that understands that deafness is not a disability but rather just a different way of communicating. He is responding to hand signals with his foster and this information will all be passed to his new owner.

Please take a chance on Charlie. He really is a beautiful boy that needs a chance.

Unfortunately Tigger is coming back into rescue, this is due to no fault of his own. The family’s circumstances have changed and they are unable to keep him.

If anyone can foster or would like to adopt him please message us or send through an application.

Tigger is great with larger dogs that like to play. Tigger would be better without a cat and with older children.

We need some help. Our little rescue has been overwhelmed in the last few weeks with dogs and emergency vet fees - heartworm - haemotoma in ear canals and now a major worm infestation. This has cost us approximately $3,000 in unexpected vet fees.

We would normally not ask for help - but this time we have to. If anyone could make a small contribution to help us through this we would be so grateful.

ATLAS is our gorgeous little Kelpie x Cattle pup looking for his new home. A bit quieter than the other pups initially, he is starting to come out of his shell and growing in confidence daily. This little man would be OK as an only pup as long as he has humans for company during the day.
