Dear Loyal Followers, I’m completely heart broken. Tears rolling down my face. Exhausted doesn’t do how I’m feeling. Mentally and physically broken…

Today the kill lists have grown. I can’t bare to look. Heartbroken. It’s rescue I know. No matter how many we take there are still more. Much more.

Their eyes glare into our souls. I look in their eyes and can’t do it. For some of us it is just too hard to comprehend, and we compartmentalise it all. Tuck it safely away in the back corner of our hearts and mind. Until one day it all comes tumbling out. Well today is that day for me. Ugly, snotty crying. Tears falling continuously. The rage inside building.

I need to share this with you. I’m writing this to let you know how hard things are. Staying up late to make just one more phone call, to share just one more post, to reach out to just one more person, sending just one more email, all in the desperate hope that we can put a green tick against just one more…………

But alas, all to no avail and yet another red cross appears. He has a name. His name is Billy. I have left you down Billy… Today I am broken. Our entire team is exhausted.

We are lost and quite honestly need your help. I’m not sure to turn. Rescue is hard they say. Multiply that by a million and you might come close.

We are $15,000 behind in vet bills and absolutely have no idea on how to raise those funds other to come to you with our hearts open and plead for your assistance. Pretty please… can you help?

To put some light on our faces. To turn those frowns into some happiness. Please?

The critical list is the last ditch effort for pounds to help us save a life. For our admin team it is a weekly occurrence - trying to work out who we can save is heartbreaking.

Today, our village has rallied together to ensure no one will be left behind. Please be patient while our admin team get your foster and adoption forms to you, you beautiful angels 😇

Could it be true? Are there really no ratty foster carers out there? 😔
We are in dire need of two carers to foster; a pair of girls & a trio of boys. The foster period is only for 2-3 weeks whilst they take their meds & recover from the sniffles...
We can help out with cages, hammocks & dry food.
All we ask in return is that the ratties are given their meds twice daily and showered with love.

Arlo is a little ginger boy with white socks and a white belly. He is the perfect friend to have around your house and will make a great addition to your family. He doesn’t mind whether you are playing or cuddling with him, he will be happy so long as you are with him. Arlo would love having another cat friend to play with but will do just fine with some toys, too.

Lovely Nellie is a young mother cat ( approx 10 months old) who came into our care when the owner went into aged care herself and her family couldn’t take her on. She had her four babies with us and they are all grown up and been adopted and now it’s Miss Nellies turn to get a Wonderful Home. She is very sweet, affectionate, loves lots of attention. Not suitable with dogs as they scare her quite a bit. Would be okay with a quiet older cat not a boisterous natured cat as she likes to be boss. She is currently in The Gap area and we would love to find her a home or even a foster home till we find her the right one. She has been desexed so no more kittens for her. We are looking for a new Forever home for a “LUNA” a beautiful Russian Blue cross female cat who has been a surrogate mummy cat to many kittens but it is now her time to relax & enjoy her life. She is getting her vet work done next week so can be ready by the weekend. She is very chatty, sweet & smoochie in personality. She isn’t overly fond of dogs so a dog free home would be best.
