Wowzers!!! We sold 173 individual bandanas yesterday, which equates to an $86.50 donation to 🎄

We are expanding and are looking for a dog trainer to join our small, tight knit team to assist us with the running of our group obedience classes in the Springfield and Ripley areas of QLD.

We are looking for a happy and upbeat trainer who has ideally studied with the NDTF, or is presently studying with the NDTF and is open to expanding their knowledge and building on their skills.

Our obedience classes aren’t your average classes. Each class that we run is customised to the skill sets of each client within the class. We love to have fun in our classes and incorporate trick training with the standard obedience skills. There is no line of dogs and owners while we yell random commands at them, our classes are very fun and interactive, it is what we pride ourselves on. Our clients come to us to work on everything from solving reactivity, teaching their loving family pet some extra manners, assistance dog training and everything in-between.

What you can expect from us:
- We will provide you with ongoing training to continually expand and evolve your skillset.
- We will give you the opportunity to work with dogs and their owners in a very fun and relaxed environment while you help owners smash their training goals.
- We will give you regular hours with the possibility of additional growth over time. You must be available on weekday evenings.
- We will give you the opportunity to work within a very small and caring team and help you to love what you do.

The successful applicant will be:
- Enrolled in or have completed their Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training or have equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE ROLE PREVIOUSLY IS NOT REQUIRED.
- Comfortable working with a range of training tools including clickers, flat collars, harnesses, vibration collars, slip collars and more or be open to learning about them and how to use them.
- Openminded and understand that dog training is an evolving industry and new techniques and methods are continually becoming available.
- Confident working independently after receiving training.
- Confident working with reactive dogs.
- Reliable, hard working, and honest.
- Have a happy and fun attitude!
- Have a drivers licence and a reliable form of transportation.
