Thatโ€™s 2025, wrapped ๐ŸŽ

This year, we had the privilege of caring for thousands of pets when they needed us most, from the Charlies and Lunas to the Leos and Bellas who came through our doors in their toughest moments.

2025 was also a special year for us as we celebrated 20 years of Animal Emergency Service, supporting pets and the people who love them.

Thank you for being part of our journey. ๐Ÿ’™

Cooked bones are NOT a Christmas treat.

They can cause:
- Cuts in the mouth or throat
- Choking or blocked airways
- Punctures in the stomach or intestines
- Life-threatening blockages

Cooked bones splinter easily, turning lunch leftovers into a vet emergency. Stick to safe, pet-friendly treats this holiday season.

Is your dog ready to stay cool this Christmas?

The holidays can bring serious heat, and dogs donโ€™t sweat like we do, making them more prone to overheating.

Here are 6 easy ways to help your pup stay safe and comfy this Christmas:
๐ŸงŠ Lay out a cooling mat for instant chill
โ„๏ธ Use a cooling mat
๐Ÿ’ฆ Set up a paddling pool for splash time
๐Ÿง Offer frozen treats like pupsicles
๐Ÿ’ง Keep extra water bowls around
๐ŸงŠ Add ice cubes to their water
๐Ÿชฎ Brush out loose fur to improve airflow

Start prepping now so your dog can enjoy a cool and safe holiday!

We all know chocolate is a no-go for dogs... but did you know your festive spread could be hiding even more pet hazards?

๐Ÿšซ Onions, garlic, chives & leeks โ€“ whether raw, cooked or powdered โ€“ can damage red blood cells and cause anemia in pets.

๐Ÿšซ Grapes & raisins โ€“ common in fruitcakes, puddings and mince pies โ€“ are highly toxic to cats and dogs. Even a nibble can lead to kidney failure.
