I had a lady contact me as she thinks that her dogs may have been to the beach and contracted kennel cough ( undiagnosed).
A good reminder to keep your dogs vaccinated. All dogs going to public places should be protected from any nasties.

We hope everyone and their dogs had a great long weekend. Pity it had to end 😒.

To make the Dog Beach a fun and safe place for everyone we would like to hear about your experiences on the beach- Good and Bad.

At times we can work with the council and try and find a happy solution to any problems and also put forward constructive ideas to make it work better. Or a lot of times we can work together, united to make this a happy fun place for all.

If you have any concerns about anything at all happening on the beach, please private message us and we will endeavour to find a solution.

This could be;
You've witnessed an attack
You or your dog has been attacked
You're concerned about a dog's behaviour or their owners behaviour
Menacing and annoying dogs
Dogs that don't play nice - intimidating behaviour etc
Anything at all including ideas to make it better

Please can anyone identify the Rottweiller and owner that attacked a golden Labrador at the Dog Beach today?
Received by pm today:

"My golden lab was bitten an hour ago at the beach by a rot wheeler in the eye I now have him at emergency vet hospital having surgery I couldn’t find the owners of the dog that bit him"

A couple of weeks ago it was very busy at the Dog Beach. No incidents to report while I was there. Lots of fun for all 😁
