It is that time of year again for Best Friends Felines where every donation made into this GFM will be matched dollar for dollar by a very generous business.

This is a huge opportunity for BFF and makes such a difference to the. being able to take in those high needs cases and sustain the 300+ they average in care.

Last years funds saw BFF through kitten season and they were able to help three other small rescues that are basically self funded. They were alao able to do some community desexing and other amazing things with the money raised to not only sustain BFF but pay it forward.

Paint & Sip and Resin & Sip Fundraisers for Best Friends Felines -

Strictly limited seating as super small event so book your seats asap!

With 300 cats and kittens in care we are facing a lot of vet work expenses so have decided to run another Paint & Sip fundraiser as well as a Resin & Sip fundraiser for the first time!

We will be running four Paint & Sip classes with Jade, Amber, and Steph at the helm again.

We have 16 seats available for each of the below sessions:

Session 1 – Elegant Plant
Session 2 – Sleepy Kitty
Both of these sessions will run from 11:30am - 1:30pm
Cost - $65 per person

Session 3 – Twilight Birds
Session 4 – Beach View
Both of these sessions will run from 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Cost - $65 per person

There will be two Resin & Sip classes with instructor Melissa there to guide you step by step.

There are 12 seats available for each of the below sessions:

Session 1 – 3D koi fish resin trinket bowl
This session will run from 11:30am - 12:30pm
Cost - $50 per person

Session 2 - ‘Filigree and Bezel Resin Pendants’
This session will run from 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Cost - $45 per person

I received a text today from a number I had no call history with asking about surrendering their cats.
When I asked them what their name was and how they got my number they didn't reply.
If you know someone that needs help, I will try and help them as best I can, or if I can't help I'll direct them to other places that might be able to help.
I'm more than happy to help if and when I can.

FOSTER CARER NEEDED -

12 week old puppy, mixed breed (possibly GSD X Boxer)

This puppy was found wandering around Ferny Hills yesterday. We need a carer that can hold them for 14 days while we wait to see if an owner can be found.

If no owner is found, Best Friends Felines will vet the puppy and rehome them so a carer that could potentially foster until adoption would be ideal.

Stanford's first beach trip 🥰

Soos managed to catch herself on something sharp yesterday and it tore a small wound in her side. Even though Dr Shane was all booked out until next week he was able to squeeze us in today. He flushed the wound, stapled it closed, and sent her home with antibiotics. She was a very good girl and, as always, Shane and the team at Mitchelton Veterinary Practice took very good care of her.
