It's staff spotlight time! Get to know our veterinarian, Dr. Shelley Lo ⬇️

I am originally from Hong Kong and came to Australia in 2019 for my studies. I decided to pursue a career as a veterinarian after the passing of my family pet. This experience motivated me to study veterinary medicine, enabling me to contribute to the health and well-being of our beloved animals.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2024. Striving to become a well-rounded veterinarian, I am dedicated to build my skills, experiences and knowledge under the guidance of my mentors. I have an interest in surgery and emergency critical care.

🩷 Favourite place to visit: Shopping malls
🩷 Pets: Duffy 5yo Corgi (passed away)
🩷 Interests: Video games, Binge watching, Musicals, Drawing, Cooking, Trying out restaurants

As we head into the cooler months, it's essential to ensure your pets stay happy and healthy all winter long. Here are our top winter care tips:

❄️ Warm bedding: Provide cozy and insulated bedding to keep your pets comfortable.
❄️ Indoor comfort: Limit outdoor time during extreme cold and ensure they have a warm indoor space.
❄️ Nutrition: Maintain a balanced diet to support their immune system.
❄️ Regular check-ups: Schedule a winter wellness exam to catch any seasonal health issues early.
❄️ Parasite prevention: Continue flea and tick prevention, as these pests can still be active.

For more information, read the blog on our website ➡️ Keep Your Pet Healthy This Winter

Stay warm and make sure to give your pets some extra love this winter! 🐶🐱
