Over the last 2 days I have booked in 23 dogs wowza…..
Everyone knows the hotter days are here now so I am BEGGING EVERYONE to please think ahead and book your appts in now for the REST of the year if you haven’t already done so as December is already getting quiet full.its not fair that the puppa’s have to wait extended periods of time in horrid heat etc.ALL DOG GROOMERS will be in the same boat so appts will start to book out everywhere etc.

This tick has been on display for us to show people for a while. After months in a sealed container without any additional feeding, she laid eggs. This demonstrates how long a tick can remain dormant and how many eggs one female can lay. Remember, ticks become active again in the fall, so continue with preventive measures.

If you encounter a small pile of jelly-like balls in your garden, act immediately! These are tick eggs and they're set to hatch soon.

Either set them on fire or destroy them by soaking in isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to wear gloves if you handle the nest, as it contains hundreds of tick eggs that will hatch in a few weeks. I believe it's important to share this post because tick bites can be dangerous.

Stay safe and informed to protect yourself and your garden from these tiny but dangerous creatures!

Not grooming your fur baby for months on end result in situations like this where the fur forms Matt’s and continues to thicken into tighter Matt’s until it eventually starts to pull at the dogs skin which can be painful for them not to mention it deprives the skin of air flow so what gets stuck under and in the mats make its way to the skin causing itchiness and irritation.Imgine having an itchy bit of skin that you couldn’t get too.THIS is in no way a shamingnpostbjust a post to educate people and show what real matting is like on a pelted coat.QUIET often the owners come in and want the nice fluffy winter plush look on their fur babies but this is not achievable at this state of coat.I have always been a kind and caring groomer putting the dogs before vanity.
Please book regular grooming appts to ensure this doesn’t happen to your fur baby so they have good hygiene under their coats.
