What a year it's been!! Kids are now all weaned, and we still have some (wethers and doelings) looking for their new 🏚. Please PM us with any queries.
The boys (our keepers) are now out in their own paddock and getting lost in the long grass, while some of the girls are channeling Rudolph with their red noses (no guessing who got the strawberries!) and wish you all a very merry Christmas. 😀

What a great way to wrap up kidding for 2023. First time mum Jamilla (AMG) has had triplets. Super happy with this trio (not easy to get a photo with all of them together!) and can't wait to see them unfold and get stronger.

This is what I was waiting for - the arrival of the miniature boer kids for 2023. There's no disappointment here - 7 does delivered 13 healthy kids (7 girls, 6 boys). Colour and personality has been delivered too! Who stays, who goes? This could take me a little while to decide. I'll just have to spend more time with them all before I can make up my mind! 😉

They are friendly Australian Miniature / Elf crosses, are being dam raised however can be put on the bottle if requested. All are disbudded, will be fully vaccinated and registered with choice of name by new owner.

The boys have now outnumbered the girls born! But what cuties they all are 😍 Then again, maybe I'm just biased. Loving spending time with the little ones and seeing their personalities develop. The miniature boers are due to start kidding next week. Excited!

Surprise! Nina had hidden her impending labour; found this little guy when out to feed early this morning. They're both doing well and at just a few hours old, he's already posing 😀

The weather is warming up here, and the winter fluff is starting to shift. Bridie has the fluffiest coat and it's hard to remember what her colour is underneath it all. Can't wait for the summer reveal 😀

It's twins again, this time two girls, born yesterday morning. Nearly identical and spitting image of mum, Margarita. Already out exploring.

There's always plenty going on when it comes to food - from finding ways to get green grass in winter, thinking what's in the horse's feed bin is better, or just hoping there's leftovers on offer when an escape from the paddock is successful. 😂

Had a great day out at the Esk Show. Ginger Pop was initially overwhelmed but soon settled and ate her way through the day. This proved to be an exhausting experience for her! Very proud of her being awarded Reserve Champion Kid Doe 6-12 months.

Our first adventure out is this weekend - off to the Esk Show. While the trailer is still looking in poor shape (cosmetically), it's passed its safety inspection (thanks Dave Crawford). The girls are having their 'spa treatment' tomorrow and should be looking good come show time.

Thanks to Pippinwood Mini Goats for allowing Kevin to visit in April and trusting us with looking after him. Kevin's a Miniature Boer - Gen 1 and an absolute gentleman - and quite the character. He was here visiting with our Miniature Boer girls. The journey to September has begun.

While a couple of goats were originally purchased as company for the horse (Keita), she's now the guardian of them all. They're never far apart and she can't be separated from them, or have them out of her sight, for any length of time.

Bridie joined us here when she was just 2 months old. She's a little character, that's for sure! Can't wait until she's old enough to breed - the big question is, will her kids get up to as much mischief as her?
