Kidding is done for now. AMG girl born Monday to first-time mum Luna. Already the little one is friendly and inquisitive. 🩷

Miniature Boer kidding done for this year. Pavlova and Abina kidded last week - twin boys (Gen 2) for Pavlova and a single girl (Gen 3) for Abina. This girl is also the first kid for Kevin Junior.

We had a daytime delivery on Sunday! First AMGs for the season and first kids for our young buck Pippinwood Theodore (aka Teddy). Grateful it was during the day as it wasn't smooth sailing for mum Roxy. A huge thanks to Sam Kinnersley of JA-Nita Mini Goat Stud for being here with me and helping Roxy deliver both kids. A breech birth was a new experience for both of us! A few days on and all are doing well.

Ginger Pop's a mum! Yesterday we welcomed our first Gen 3 Miniature Boer kids (Ginger Pop X Levi) - twin girls. Mum and kids are healthy and doing well.

Lowood Show 2024. Flora was awarded Champion Kid Doe under six months of age, and Kevin Junior awarded Miniature Boer Best of Breed.
A great day out with lots of feedback and encouragement given by the judge on the day.

Three of our Miniature Boer doelings made their debut at the Marburg Show yesterday. All took it in their stride, with the best part being the offer of treats, either as encouragement or as reward.
I was pleasantly surprised when KaiDi Park Leilani not only took first place in the kid doe class, but then went on to beat her twin brother, KaiDi Park Levi, for Best of Breed.
The twin's mum (Pippinwood Betty) can be proud of these two - happy Mother's Day Betty!!! 🩷

Had an enjoyable day out at the Toowoomba Royal Show yesterday. Although the rain came in, we were fortunate to be in under cover for the day. Levi did it again with Miniature Boer Best of Breed.
We received some really positive and constructive feedback from the judge on the day, which we're forever grateful for as this is still a big learning curve we're on.

Levi (Gen 2 Miniature Boer) at only 7 months of age was awarded Best of Breed and Reserve Champion Kid Buck 6-12 months.

It was fun times at the Allora Show on the weekend. Another great day for the kids, receiving some positive comments from the judge. Couldn't ask for more as a new breeder, I learn more and more each time I'm out at a show.
Angel shone, with a win in 'Best dry doe' and 'Best of breed' (Miniature Boer). Her son, Kevin Junior (aka Junior) thought the outing was just for him to meet people. He's proving to be quite the socialite!

KaiDi Park Tianna won Best of Breed (Aus. Mini) at the Tenterfield Show. Super proud of this little girl who really stood up and said 'look at me' at her first outing. Not yet four months old, she has a promising future.
