This is Kalais, she is 2 and honestly had the roughest life. She has been sick since the day I collected her from her breeder. Kalais has had 12 ICU visits due to aspiration pneumonia , cherry eye surgery, desexing, a**l prolapse, tail amputation, constant battles with allergies and needing cytopoint injection every 4 weeks. Kalais had first boas surgery at 9 months old and revision boas just 2 months ago along with hiatal hernia repair.

I’m writing this as we sit here hoping Kalais can make a full recovery from her last surgeries and live a life my beautiful baby dog deserves. We have the most amazing and caring team of vets and also an outstanding specialist involved in Kalais constant battles and fight to live a better life.

I’m not sure really why I am writing this other than to say I do understand the consequences of poor breeding. It breaks my heart every day. Kalais is my best friend, the reason I wake up in the morning with a smile as she lay in bed with her head on my face. I will do anything to make this special girl live her best life. But there comes a time where my needs no longer matter. Our specialist has no more options for Kalais. I sit here every day hoping that her last surgery fixes her problems and she can live a long life by my side.

As a breeder I can’t guarantee perfect health but I can do my absolute best to only breed the healthiest dogs to ensure you have a baby without the issues Kalais suffers. Im not breeding to make money, I breed because I absolutely adore the breed, it makes me happy to know every person that walks through my doors to meet a puppy has a chance at feeling the love Kalais gives me and I feel for Kalais.

And then there were none 🥹. It is hard to say good bye to our babies but I’m so stoked they all found the best loving homes. Honestly wouldn’t have picked 1 family different. I know each puppies is going to live their best life 😍

Our lush babies have all passed their health check, now vaccinated and microchipped. Happy to say the vet was very happy with them Craigieburn Animal Hospital. Nearly time to leave home sweet babies 😍

Her mum and dad both carry shrinkabull lines and it shows in dad who is so short and stock with a big square head.. this little miss would would be an asset to any breeding program.
