Today we welcome WALLY!! He’s still a baby at 9 months old and he’s having the best day. Lots of friendly faces to meet and he’s already found his bestie in Whipette and Luna is his love match 💕

It’s funny how some dogs just love the camera while others tell me to put it away and “just throw/kick the bloody ball again Brad!”
So if you’re the parent of a mad ball chaser, I apologise for struggling to keep up with your pup!
If they’d just stand still for a second, it would be an easy task!

Next month (July), we are taking a little time off to relax, adventure and spend some quality time together with our little family.

The last day of daycare will be Wednesday July 24th

We will then be on break for a week from Thursday July 25 - Friday Aug 2 (inclusive)

Daycare will resume on Monday August 5

Minding will resume Friday August 2

For those of you booked in to stay with us commencing Friday, your stays are still as booked and planned!

We will be switching off from technology during this time. If you wish to make a booking or enquiry, please do so via text message or email and all enquiries will be responded to from Friday Aug 2.

Thursday Dog Watch!

You will find:

Bouncy Boxer Ruby is off playing tag and wrestle with Hunter the Hound Dawg one minute and Big Dave the next.

Hound Dawg Hunter has his sniffer to the ground, trackin’ those smells in the minutes between wrestle bouts!

Big Dave is playing defence, great guarding of the ball during soccer and finds some quiet time to explore on his own.

Super Sonny is darting about, keeping a herders watchful eye on sister Tilly and playing shadows.

Rainbow Ruby prances and dances and is sure to let me know if anyone is being cheeky.

Sweet Treacle is happy exploring, finding sticks and sneakily watching for the moment I crouch because it 100% means *cuddles*!

Ray Ray Raven was feeling brave when her ball went in the deep, middle bit of the dam. She worked together with Retriever Luna, Bouncy Ruby (& the breeze) to work out how to get the ball back, because she prefers soccer to water polo.

Shepherd Tilly is always on the move, ready to shift up a gear and change direction with the pack. She can also be spotting scaling new heights and checking out the view from atop of Embark Fort.

Speagle Sascha is found toodling from tree to tree, sniffer to the ground to smell out all the messages left from the dogs since she visited last. She keeps a watchful eye on the fence line, because her sniffer sense tells her there could be some birds out there! (Or so she tells me)

Tilly “Nana” Heeler was spotted playing chase with the youngen’s at the start of school then going for a swim before falling asleep in a shady, sandy spot. She’s always ready to give wise words!

Miss Molly decided to dig in the dirt to look for treasure. Coming up empty pawed in the ground, she took her search on ground and found a frisbee, three sticks and a giant tennis ball. She shared her excitement with a sound alarm!

Happy Hugo pounced like a kitten during the littles game of fetch, trying to race Ruby Doobs to see who reached it first! A social solo traveller at heart, he is often spotted in any corner of the paddocks exploring the sights and smells and coming for a gentle chat with anyone he bumps into on his travels.

Retriever Luna is spotted emerging elegantly from the dam, dripping in water before much less elegantly “flopping” down to roll about in a good stink!

If you’re a Queenslander who has seen the light and moved to God’s country, enjoy the night of screaming for your team in the last 5 minutes to beat us by 2 ….. again!
But for those NSW people who barrack for The Maroons, check yourself at the door, and go watch reruns of Love Boat! You are truly lunatics!!!! 😜 😛
Zoe wears her heart on her collar and Tilly has no choice being a Blue Cattle Dog, but I didn’t hear 1 of todays dogs say ONE nice thing about the Queenslanders!!
