👨⚕️ Meet Dr Tim Hill – Our Adventure-Loving Boss Vet! 🐶🐾
Since 1993, Dr Tim Hill has been helping animals (and occasionally breaking a few bones of his own along the way). With a special interest in small animal surgery and ophthalmology, Tim took the reins of Bundaberg Vet Hospital in 1998, and what started as one clinic has grown into Vet Cross — now proudly caring for animals across Bundaberg, Bargara and Gin Gin.
Tim thrives on the variety and challenge of vet life and is passionate about keeping Vet Cross at the cutting edge of animal care.
Outside the clinic, Tim’s sidekicks are Barney and Bruce the dogs, and Abbey and Rox the horses. (No cats allowed — family allergies 😿). He’s big on fishing, surfing, and family time, especially now the kids are nearly all grown up.
💥 Fun Fact: Tim is very familiar with the inside of a hospital — but not always as the vet. His injury list includes a broken ankle, fractured vertebra, multiple broken noses, ribs, fingers, wrists... and one unfortunate chisel accident. Despite all this, he’s still our most trusted surgeon (and we’re keeping the power tools far away).
