Registered breeder through Responsible Pet Breeders Australia. Our breeding dogs are fully health tested and puppies are raised on our farm and will have exposure to kids, people, dogs, cats, birds and poultry.

Good morning everyone,
Unfortunately, I have to have a small price increase of $5 for all full groom services. I have tried to absorb the rising costs of products and services that I use, but unfortunately, I can no longer do this. 6 weekly regulars I am happy to keep at regular price CASH ONLY, and to receive pension discount you must provide your Centrelink pension card. I will still be offering a 3 or more dog discount, but becoming more strict when it comes to excessive matting and bad behaviour as these do actually take up more time and also more wear and tear on my blades. I hope you all understand, I am still the most affordable groomer in the region and my aim is to still keep my prices as low as I can.

Sasha the Malamute had a deshed today!

It is important with these dogs that they are properly shampooed and conditioned. You will notice I run an everyday shampoo through the Hydrobath as a pre rinse, before doing a good hand scrub with undiluted shampoo, a thorough rinse, and then a conditioner, I usually trim nails and clean ears whilst letting the conditioner sit in. Again, a thorough rinse, then a towel dry and a blow dry. The bath and blow dry itself took an hour and this was under normal circumstances as Sasha is well maintained and comes every 3 months.
I don’t use fancy tools such as an undercoat rake or a furminator- I find they are damaging to the skin and fur, I much prefer the old fashioned way by using a basic slicker brush, fine toothed comb and some elbow grease! Sasha had been previously shaved before she came to me so together with the owner we are getting her coat back into a beautiful condition. Of course, she looks beautiful afterwards 😍

UPDATE - WE HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!
These two cuties have been surrendered together due to their owner passing. Dorothy is 5yrs and Toto is 12yrs (very active and visibly healthy). We are trying to find a home that will take both. Dorothys adoption fee is $450 and Toto is give away due to age.
If your home and heart are big enough for double trouble, our office is open tomorrow for adoptions from 10am-2pm.

NEW SERVICE
*Nail file/dremel*

Usually a straight nail clip leaves a sharp edge that can still scratch skin and surfaces.

I am now offering nail filing using a dremel to get a much smoother finish to your dogs nails.

This service is $5 for just the front feet, or $10 for all four feet in conjunction with any grooming package.

A stand alone nail clip and file is $20.

I hate having to make posts like this:

Please can you make sure if I am doing a pick up and drop off for your dog that payment is either made via bank deposit BEFORE your appointment or cash is left out somewhere safe for me to collect if you are not going to be home. I will no longer be issuing invoices because they don’t get paid, or they do eventually get paid but days after the service has been provided. I have taken a bit of a sting financially recently as I have not been paid for my work and thus some important bills won’t be able to be paid.

I am very competitively priced, but I won’t be able to keep my prices affordable for the community if I don’t get paid for the work I do. I don’t like to chase people up as I know everyone is in struggle town, so please, if you are having trouble paying for your groom, I am happy to organise a payment plan.
