Halloween is fast approaching. Be mindful that decorations on houses and people dressed in costume in your area may cause fear in your dog because they move in random ways and maybe seen as a threat by your dog. Carry some tasty treats to build positive associations when out walking, keep a suitable distance and keep calm. Don’t force interactions.

Being a pet parent can be challenging. Sometimes simple and gentle solutions can solve behavioural problems. For example -
Create a legal dig site for a dog who enjoys digging up your plants.
Consider a cat gate for a dog who likes to raid the cat's litter and food.
Always consider visiting your Vet as behaviour can worsen with health issues.

It’s most likely not a Labrador puppy! But a good rule of thumb is to remove any uneaten food after 20 minutes. By doing so you increase the value of food as a resource and reduce the chance of bugs and bacteria invading their food.

I am not sure if Ronnie appreciates my plating-up skills and the appetite appeal for humans is seriously lacking but let's say the licky matt was licked clean on every occasion. Combining sardines with peanut butter and yoghurt was a particular hit!

Getting two puppies from the same litter is not a great idea.

You may think two is better than one and they will entertain themselves making your life easier.
Unfortunately, it can lead to co-dependency, an inability to bond as strongly with humans in their lives, and increased aggression between litter mates and other animals.

Responsible breeders do not support you getting litter mates.
