Where My Wildlife Story Began

My earliest memories with wildlife go right back to childhood. I can still see myself sitting outside in the rain collecting snails into buckets. There were that many you could barely spot a bare patch of ground.

From 7–16 November 2025, join Australia’s biggest frog count, hosted by the Australian Museum. Using the free FrogID app, you can record the croaks, barks, and bleats of your local frogs, helping scientists monitor frog populations and track the health of our environment.
