We had our last ride on this farm today!

God has blessed us beyond imagination with the new farm and we are excited for what's in store

After wondering if we would have to sell all livestock and then look at agistment for Darcy and move to town it's a real blessing to be able to keep them plus have the opportunity to add some more...

We have 12 geese now. They will help with w**d control for organic orchard.

Darcy will be getting a herd of about 26 sheep to look after also. Absolutely no doubt he will be used to move them, and to yard them. We need to teach them how to be calm around a horse and with how determined we are able having calm and easy animals we hope they will learn how to yard and move around the property like well behaved citizens 😂

First time on the tether!

Learning to tether is a wonderful tool to assist in creating a calmer milking goat.
She will soon accept/understand, and that if she walks forward the pressure comes off immediately

1st Milking of the 2024 season 💞

Sweetie and her doeling (nicknamed spice; as we have some spicy attitude) are going to a dear friend I used to work with at the vets for her family to see if they enjoy having a family milking goat
Her buckling (tank, for obvious reasons) is pending a pet home

Fai and her 2 doelings Cotton and Mellow, are staying for now. Hopefully we can mature them and breed some more homestead milking goats
Her buckling nicknamed latte is going to be a breeding buck with his good genetics with another friend 😄

Bitter sweet as Sweetie will have a new home as a milking goat shortly due to us having to move rentals
