📣 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗 – 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
We’re incredibly disappointed to share that due to the predicted forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms from Thursday night through the weekend, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend's Busselton Winter Jumping Festival.
We know it’s only Tuesday and the sun’s still shining, but with the predictions worsening overnight, it’s become clear it's simply not in everyone’s best interests to proceed. Sadly, all our collective prayers to the weather gods don’t seem to have worked this time!
It’s an incredibly tough call, especially for our small committee facing this for the second year in a row. But after more than 20 years of mostly beautiful winter weekends, perhaps it’s just our turn. And while the timing isn’t ideal for us, we know the rain is needed.
We’re working on a new date — there’s a bit of juggling to do — and we’ll share as soon as we can. If you've got any enlightened ideas or strong preferences we're all ears.
