Peaches is all grown up now!! Her next heat is due in September so puppy spam isn't far away! (Excuse the floor. I'd blame it on COVID but it was dirty before I got sick). BB still enjoying fitting on my lap and sleeps all day with me whereas Peaches decides random times are good to wake me up! Good thing she's cute... 😘

BB getting a little groom... Pity if I wanted to sleep after working the night doggies... I'm hearing slurp, suck, lick over and over and over... He must enjoy it though cause he doesn't run away from her or get cranky...

Peaches is growing up so fast!!! She's smaller than I was expecting but still may grow a little. Lucky Beanie is a submissive gentle dog because she likes to "dominate" him by standing on him and of course getting in the road whenever Beanie is getting a cuddle... I'm still waiting for her chewing phase to pass... Perhaps when the other puppy moves out she will chill out in this department... I was given a lovely and comfortable rocking chair which is gradually losing the fabric and stuffing on one arm... After I wake up tomorrow post night shift tonight I'll put some pics up. 😍 Love being a fur mama

Some pics of our time up the coast with my sister and her family. Games nights, jumping off a jetty, out on a boat, Aussie World, fishing, swimming. All are loving it including Peaches who had her first ice cream and swim. She was happy to get out of the river though when I did. She has also discovered beanbags and they’re her favourite toy now!!!

Merry Christmas to the beautiful families out that I have entrusted with caring for and loving my hairy grandbabies. No puppies in 2023 and not likely 2024 but 2025 should be bringing the pitter patter of tiny paws to my home again. Breeding happy healthy pups brings me so much joy and I love being able to share my joy with all of you. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!

First day at puppy preschool 😍 she hid under my chair most of the time but won hearts of all the people!! The shepherd was a bit boisterous and loud and the spaniel was loud in return which was a bit much for Princess Peach. When they were settled she would go halfway towards them with a little jump and whine but she wasn’t quite brave enough to go the distance 👸🏻😍😂. 3 more weeks and I reckon she’ll be joining in the fun! Next week the 9 week old mini daschound is likely to be her best mate if he makes it.

Beanbag was getting sad on his own so I went and did what you all did and decided on a Bordoodle! She’s a great little companion for him as you can see from the pics and she fits in here like she was custom made for us. She’s very well behaved and learning quickly. I’m not sure if Beanbag is still waiting for Cookie to come home, but I know he’s happy with his new friend

My parents have decided to get themselves a collie to work their farm in July 24 when they move out there, but until then she will come here to keep BB company. They may decide to breed them also down the track? We’ll see… pick up in 2 weeks when this house will go from peaceful to mad with 2 puppies!! Collie pups are a bit of a handful!

Had to put Cookie down. Some sort of kidney trauma leading to internal bleeding. I’m just glad she can live on in all her puppies out there.

Why do I breed Bordoodles?? Border collies are an absolutely amazing breed of dog. They are striking in their looks, they have fantastic personalities and they are smart enough to learn almost any sport or activity. BUT… even when they’re lazy and relaxed like Cookie, AKA “low drive”, suburbia isn’t their ideal environment. They are made for large blocks or farms with plenty to do to keep them active. This is where the Oodle comes into it. Poodles are one of the smartest dogs, just like collies. Mixing two breeds is a well known way of breeding strong pups. It’s basically the opposite to inbreeding. Other bonuses of an oodle is they’re low-no shredding, can be hypoallergenic, using a mini means they can be smaller and best of all, their energy needs are less than of a pure collie. All of these things lead to a family and suburbia friendly dog. Being smart pups/dogs they require stimulation, and like all dogs, exercise is a must. They are the best of both worlds and I can’t wait for a new litter to come into the world in approx 8 weeks. 🐶❤️

GOOD NEWS!!! My lease has been renewed so a litter of pups will be on the way later in the year! Now to decide if I get a stud in to cover Cookie, or use Beanbag… see what happens over the next few months…
