What's been happening during this summer shutdown period?
As part of the rustproofing and painting of our main stadium trusses, and the install of the new energy efficient LED lighting to replace the old halogens, we have been able to reposition and update our speaker system. This video is of a sound and lighting check was taken shortly before Christmas to give you a bit of a taste of the action!

QSEC Upgrade Season Update!
As many of you know, the QSEC venue team alongside our extended council family, have been working towards getting this area back on line as an overflow riding zone. This latest very important step in the process started today! Big thanks to the team from Aussie Environmental for the application of Hydromulch on our Park 2 area earlier today!
Weather permitting and exterior factors aside, we hope to have this area available for use sometime in 2024. For now, we ask all our QSEC users to steer clear of riding/walking over this ground during its establishment period.
Stay tuned for future posts on other upgrades we have been working on this upgrade season here at your state centre!
